Very helpful thanks. Ours (2012 car) needed replacing whilst away without my socket set and I was able to use the flat headed screwdriver in the standard toolkit under the boot floor to remove and retighten the white plastic securing bolt
Awesome video. Helped me out with my '11. Quick question. Would you happen to know the part# for the cover that you had to remove @ 0:45 to get to the release screw? Mine was missing and I would love to replace it. Thanks.
@@ratemygadgets I had no luck finding the OEM part#. Ordered the hole covers in the following link. Worked great. www.ebay.com/itm/281484700990?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
I have a 2016 touareg and the chrome trim on the rear bumper is hanging off slightly. To fix/clip it back on do need to remove the entire bumper or can it be removed and refined from the front?
For all those with the same question: you pop the little plastic cover below the seat fold levers and boot lower button. look inside with a light and you'll see the same white hexagonal plastic screw thing
Thank you, accurate and concise, I was able to use a flat head screw drive to disconnect the tail light.. don't forget the bulb grease 😊😊
Glad could help. Please do like the video and subscribe as really helps me

I am so sorry I don't. We no longer own the Touareg so couldn't ho read it from the plastic. Hopefully one of the viewers can help.

Right side is not the same. There is no small cap to remove for access.
Same question here. what do you do on the right side?
