Creating New Turtle Habitat

Stainless steel stock watering tanks make an excellent habitat for turtles and fish and will last about 10 to 15 years before rusting out. I got good 15 years out of my tank before having to replace it. Unfortunately, I cannot longer find the measurements that I needed and settled for a smaller 5’ diameter round tank that holds about 110 gallons of water. My previous oblong tank measured 72”wide x 32”deep x 24”tall and held about 230 gallons.
Oh, I had bought a dozen feeder goldfish about 10 years ago. However, the turtles never ate them and they grew so big. They were eating all the turtle food before the turtles got a chance to eat so I decided to give away the goldfish and start with new feeder fish.
