The T-72M1 for germany is one of my favorite tanks to play and now the 9.3 br feels so much better. Im having mostly good games now lol. As for the 3BM22 round I dont really have any issues with it, 3BM15 worked fine as well. Also the ZTZ96 is now another one of my favorites. Better mobility and better round with slightly less armor.
personally with the T72A being one of my top performing tanks, 3BM22 is adequate at 9.3. while post pen can get gaijined, it can pen most things up and down the bracket. It's absolutely abysmal at 10.3+ and i would know since it had to be the main dart on my T72B for a long while until i made it to 3BM42 since it'll have to face tanks that can bounce it with relative ease.
the XM800T going up to 8.0 is great because its only downside is that it can only pen king tigers in the back of the turret ring, and its very inconsistant. now it cant see king tigers.
plus its not at 7.7 now which is the worst br ever in terms of uptiers and downtiers its constant down tier and constant uptier, now that its at 8.0 its more consistant
I just think balancing is very hard for some tanks, take for example the centurion mk.3, you're slow as a heavy, armored like a light tank, and hit like medium. You have apds (bad) that fires fast and is stabilized (good) at 6.7 you would (and used to) just lolpen stuff from the front, at 7.7 you do fine, but at 8.7 you're basically useless.
With the T-64A and the T-72A, i found that using the HE shell and going for overpressure spots is more reliable than using the weak APFSDS they have. If you hit the spot, it insta-kills the enemy, and you also one-shot light tanks as well. And it does have decent velocity to not be THAT painful to aim. Plus, the HE shell is stock, meaning you do not need to grind for it, and it also saves up on SL in the long run from having to spend SL on ammo after the match.
when t-72 face the vehicles its supposed to face against its good but not overpowered, a normal leopard1 with apds easily one shot it even frontaly (not effortlessly pen the UFP but through weak spots), also mobility and reload speed still a weakening point of t-72 so its balance out the vehicle
3bm42 is long rod apfsds so it has more spawling, the others like 3bm22 arent. you can tell by the stat card; if the shell is a weird diamond shape then it means its the bad kind of apfsds
It's too late for that. Gaijin willingly added garbage cold war tanks to low tiers knowing they would never be able to balance them without glaring historical innacuracies. They need to split WW2 into its own separate game (just like they are now splitting air sim into a separate game) because warthunder WW2 is beyond saving, it has been completely ruined since the introduction of Sweden and Israel
bro, the m60 120s sufferes insanely when it comes to mobility and armor... the funny thing is they put it from 10.0 to 10.3... same goes for the M1128 its mobility is very sluggish for a wheeled vehicle and it doesnt have its actual gun depression...

I used to play War thunder when there were only planes in the game and stopped playing until i saw some videos a few months back and was tired of playin squad, so i thought to myself lets try the grind bought premium acc good stuff lots of fun.. and about 2 weeks ago i happily arrived at 9.3 having enjoyed the tam just at 8.7 to the fullest AND NOW YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE THIS VERY VIDEO. Idk how the T-72 was ever bad. The T72M1 I got in Germany tech tree was really a breath of fresh air. Good armor, good mobility, good shell. 440mm flat pen at 9.3 is insane. 60 kph is decent, armor finally allows you to tank ifvs and spaa shells. Easily the best 9.3 tank in the German tech tree for me, having on top of it a great lineup with kpz, bagel, 1a5 and gepard.
The only reason I don’t prefer it is that it has no reverse speed in a BR that was pumped up with very high preforming shells because they use to face 10.0 and 10.3 MBTs it’s the only reason why all of the magachs had DM63 and leopards having DM33 both of those shells can slice through the T72A like butter, and not being able to reverse the only good playstyle is brawling.
The MM for 9.3 is better but still I am getting a little too many full up tiers it’s almost like they should had did a double bump to 12.3 and moved everything up to brackets
Sea Vixen move to 9.0 in RB is crazy, it has no guns and they just reduce the G pull for Red Tops. What it really should be at is 8.3, if it has to be 9.0 then give Red Top short range all aspect.

they have to remove full uptiers and full downtiers normal ones from 3.3 to 3.7 or 3.3 to 3.0 are not bad and if they would remove that too then you would have to wait ages till a round starts
There are some American and German AND Russian tanks that need to be changed like back to 6.0-7.0 range (T20, T25, m41 bulldog, Tiger ll P, jagpanther, Is2, Is2 1944~I think~ but I’m sure there more but Gaijin has just murdered some tanks with there BR changes
No. They never fix anything. All they have done is more tanks around, you still get max uptiers every match

Worst update in a long time... I hate the BR changes, I cant even play my 10.0 tanks, there's only 1 in any line up and they aren't good enough to face 11.3
3BM22 = decent damage but very bouncy (I hate it) 3BM42 = amazing damage and decent pen, but at 10.3-10.7 it starts suffering to pen. 3BM46 = good pen and angle pen, but feels like lower damage than 3BM42. 3BM60 = feels like 3BM42 but with much more pen (I love it)
Thing about War Thunder over the last few years is almost every game is a full 1.0 up. Almost. Every. Game.

Same for me, the Kpz is a game changer for me. German tanks at 9.3 also have stabilisers which is a big deal.

By your metric, 12.0 GRB is the best BR in WT because it's impossible to get uptiered, but you might get some occasional downtiers.
Its still possible to get a uptier because of CAS at 12.0 12.7 is still the highest ground BR even with no tanks past 12.0

9.3&9.7 is playable right now, at least for soviet light tank lineup, south africa and french.

Strykers now have adjustable suspension to help out with gun depression

Yea the stock APFSDS rules need to change cause you have some 12.0 vehicles that are rank 7 and stuck with stock heat yet they are top tier.

Ztz96 is so underrated. Its a less armoured t72 but actaully has decent reverse and a way better shell

8.3 already suffers from uptiers. 8.0 to 11.0 is constant uptiers. Especially painful for Germany since no stab until 9.0

I have had nothing but good experiences spading the tech tree Type 74s, premium one use to suck just because of the old 9.3 match maker.
