    I really loved this for my hairy arms, and I love that it has barely any sunscreen smell even though it's fragrance free. No eye sting, but yeah a bit too oily for my face.
    The face fluid has a nicer finish, but I don't love the smell of that one & it stings my eyes later in the day sometimes.
    Looks like they're coming out with US versions soon, all SPF 70, but the formulas are completely different.

    I got my hopes up after seeing the title 😂😂 despite knowing better. It would be nice if they eventually gave us a matte sunscreen. I recently got their sport sunscreen. I'm yet to try it

      to have a matte sunscreen, you may need a product with denatured alcohol which just like fragrance is increasingly not being included in products

    I’m in Australia and we used this line last summer for a water resistant one body and face for myself and my 2 daughters, I love it. I did buy the face one as well and it’s just a smaller amount for more money and to me feels exactly the same (combo skin a bit oily in my t-zone especially when in the hot sweating/swimming etc) so I just buy the body tubes. I’m going to get a spray bottle this year to keep in my bag when out and about for reapplication but the pool etc but tubes for home on the counter.

    Thanks for this it's great to have a cosmetics formulator on TH-cam. I am Australian and love the Bondi Sands line in the white tube and white bottle and the chapstick. I have not tried this line yet.

    I use this while having rosacea and it works great - no irritation! I have the one in the white tube and it is very very moistruizing to the point you look glowy to high heaven, but what helped me is just to skip moisturizer (I will use cica toner + peptide serum + skinoren + niod survival 0 serum(azelaic acid) and then SPF.

    That sunscreen has been available in New Zealand for a while but I haven't tried it yet. Might use it a body sunscreen! I do love the Hydra face fluid for the summer, but it comes in a tiny 40ml bottle (not the one in the photo you posted - that one is called the "face lotion" and is quite emollient) and my face does start to look just a liiiitle bit pale if I reapply it more than once. Just 1 reapplication is fine. Would love to hear your review anyway if you are able to get hold of it eventually!

    This has been in Australia for a while but it seems like it didn't take off like the one in the white packaging did. Every time I go to Priceline or the beauty isle at Coles/Woolies the shelf w the Hydra line is fully packed :/ but i haven't tried either of them yet bc I'm so loyal to the Isntree watery sun gel!

    I tried their original SPF 50 fragrance free sunscreen lotion (not the one marketed for the face) while I was in Florida and got the worst burns I’ve ever had on my upper back. I’ve been a regular Florida vacationer my whole life and have never had issues with burning as long as I’m regularly applying sunscreen (every 2 hours minimum or every time I get out of the water, whichever comes first). This leads me to believe that sunscreen cannot possibly be SPF 50. I was so disappointed. I feel like a lot of influencers maybe haven’t picked up on this because most of them aren’t trying these sunscreens out at the beach. Most reviews seem to be based on daily wear when mostly indoors. I’m super hesitant to try any more of the Bondi Sands sunscreens without third party testing of the SPF.

      @PS-hi9os 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      australia has EXTREMELY strict checks and laws regarding sunscreens sold. trust me, it protects your skin. maybe you didnt apply properly or not often enough.

    • @SueRosalie
      @SueRosalie ปีที่แล้ว +1

      nope sorry it means you didn't apply enough or didn't apply it correctly. As someone said below we have very strict laws and testing in regards to sunscreens. Did you leave your bottle sitting in the car?

    • @jameshutcho
      @jameshutcho ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol as an Aussie I can concur I’ve used that sunscreen in UV Index of 15 with great results. It was new and I had properly applied and stored the product.
      Many factors influence a sunscreens efficacy
      Amount applied, how evenly it was rubbed in
      How clean the skin of application is
      The efficacy of the sunscreen (is it expired / stored incorrectly)
      I’m sorry to hear it didn’t work for you that time but I wouldn’t consider that experience applicable to the entire product / brand

    Hey Ramon, have you tried- reviewed the Bea Skin Solar Defence SPF 50 before now? If not I have a feeling it could be pretty decent. It seems to have a very promising minimal Ingredient list and its mineral, no white cast and from what I've seen on-line looks amazing for POC.
