It does my heart good to hear that. Because that’s really the reason I do the show. To share what’s going on in the market and to show people that they can go out and hunt too if that’s what they want. I know some people don’t like the show because they don’t like the “reselling” aspect of it. But if you collect/buy in any quantity, you’re gonna sell some stuff or at least trade it or something. I just like the salvaging and refurb aspect of what I do. Game hunting saves a lot of unwanted items from the dumpsters and trash cans. So keep hunting and let me know what you’re finding out there!

Sometimes I find stuff like consoles or controllers and have gotten my practice on refurbishing them to where it’s almost becoming a hobby now lol. You know it’s not for everyone but those of us that do enjoy salvaging lost treasures find much happiness in it.

There was a Funcoland 10 minutes from the Harley dealer I worked at in the late 90s! Id go on my lunch break all the time and grab cartridges for $1-3 dollars each like it was nothing! It of course eventually got bought out by Lamestop… lol
I’m sure you do, brutha! And I talked about this with a vendor or two at the show. I’m not offended by you trying to make top dollar as long as you’re not offended I make offers. It’s all about feeling out a deal and ultimately making one that benefits everyone.

Dude. I didn’t get to play a single tabletop game. I might’ve played 3 or 4 cabinets. I’m actually very disappointed. The expo was great but because of lack of food options and other inconveniences, a LOT of time was lost. I’m bringing Stouffers in a cooler next year. We probably lost half a day in total waits on food.
Great gets man! I probably would’ve bought that Wii U for 10 even though it’s the Japanese version. I don’t think I would know what to do with it either but I think it would be a great display piece in the game room, I just love all that is Wii U.

Sellers were so cool this year. Like really cool. I had zero negative interactions. It was all butter and gravy. SFGE was amazing this year! And hanging out with Phil Moore from Nick Arcade was the icing on the cake. He was a cool dude!!

Yeah, the pads are expensive and I honestly don’t know if you need a Japanese version of those too. As an esteemed colleague pointed out to me, the thing would have definite modding possibilities so it was worth the $10. But just not a project I’m up to tackling.

Divinity would be cheaper to play on PC id imagine. I wouldn't buy an Xbox just to play that. But a good price on a used Xbox One these days is about $100. New S models have sold as low as $150 new, on sale.
