Thanks for giving us the skinny on this one! Honestly, it's not my thing, I'm not a big sequels person, and everyone looks like they've gotten so much plastic surgery! Freaks me out! But I was still interested in what one could expect, and your review was exactly what I needed! And also, what I expected! I'll take your word for it! (also happy to know that it didn't totally suck, and that there are some laughs in it).
P.S. Oh, by the way, do you know the afterlife comedy "Defending Your Life"? With Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep? Brilliant, hilarious....and a real easy watch!
not movie related, but seeing Michael Keaton reminded me of this little tid bit A few years ago I remember watching an interview on youtube that Leta Powell Drake did with Michael Keaton from way back in the early 80's. She questioned him as to why he changed his name. Ends up his real name is Michael Douglas so he changed it to avoid confusion with the other Michael Douglas. Now I hear that after 4 decades using the Keaton surname he plans to change it back to his real (Douglas) surname. To me it seems like a weird decision.
@@trotter73ca Emma Stone did a very similar thing. She changed her name to Emma due to there already being an actress named Emily Stone. But now that she’s reached success she wants to be called Emily! I think it makes sense-wanting to be known for who you really are instead of who you became to get attention.
@@camcordercamerin it just seems confusing to start having his movie credits as Michael Douglas, I'd be expecting a different actor. But at least I heard it ahead of time or I'd be in for a twilight zone moment his next movie. Lol
Was considering going to see it at a drive-in theater tonight (something that I have not done in 20 years). But if it's not a must see, guess I'll just go to a matinee sometime and get some rest for the early work day Monday. Thanks
It really re captured everything I love about the original it did good enough for me to like it and say this is good as the original I was never lost or confused I liked each character getting a story you Never get that in anything and it really needed that R rating
Good review Camerin. I'd love for you to do the original Beatlejuice. One of my all time favorites.
-Maintenance Baby!
I don't think I've liked a Tim Burton movie since he started using CGI.

I mean it’s fun! You wouldn’t be pissed off for having seen it I don’t think!

It was awful, no plot. The audience seemed to like it. I think I laughed once. Should have premiered on Netflix.
Timberton.
Astrid was great I love Jenna Ortega but you can tell she had more scenes and lines that got cut for time she just got buried under everything
@@mikewhite8663 wholeheartedly agree with you there… her character rlly lacked a personality
Exactly, fuck this movie and all other LATE SEQUELS! except for Tron Legacy and Bladerunner2049
Yesss I love 2049
