The day before the tournament you are assigned a time slot. They set times every fifteen minutes between about 8am to 4pm. You should arrive early to check in as you'll have two three-minute sessions that start promptly at the assigned times. Tip: If it is a weekend Tournament it will likely have an open bar and maybe food. If you're entered in the Tournament you and a friend can visit and get drinks at any time even when its not your Tournament time.

So you do not get the free play until the following day? I go this weekend, kinda confused by the way they described it
Sometimes we play and don't find out what we won until we get home but having that Free Play on the books is a great start to our next trip.

Best of luck to you! Most of all have fun. The number of players varies from one tournament to another. I guess the free ones get between 500 - 800. If you look at the pay table it will say based on number of players and thats usually a pretty good estimate.

Thank you. There are so many different tournaments I would hate to misinform anyone. Some tournaments like in this video are free. Some have entry fees. I don’t know the details on the one you got invited to but there should be a contact number in your email that can answer those questions. Have fun and good luck.
Some cost money. We only play the free ones. Call the number on the invitation and ask. The number should be the rewards desk. Good luck!

Is there an initial entry fee or just a re-buy fee?
The slot tournaments are invited offers and most have no entry fee but there are a few that have buy-in fees. We have never done a slot tournament with a buy-in fee.The re-buys on the tournaments are optional.
Who do you contact to get in these tournaments? I am there in April 20-25. Any going on at the MGM hotels?
My bad. I thought I explained that in the first twenty seconds of the video. The invitations arrive by email. If you don’t get them ask at the rewards desk about getting on the list. They have tournaments for almost every level of play.
How does one get 2 million points in a matter of a few minutes?
It’s not your typical slot machine. It is very fast paced. So fast that three minutes seems like a very long time.
