I love your videos. You are so kind and fair with your comparisons. I'm in YL and also studying to be an aromatherapist. So I love to hear about other companies!
I love your channel and what you’re doing. I want to learn about essential oils but not be limited to a brand or watch someone that’s seems like they’re just trying to sell YL specifically. I just want all around essential oil education from a regular mom just trying to better serve their family in the world. I really just appreciate being able to relate to you lol. Keep up everything you do.
I have been using YL now for 3 months, also a brand member. The oils are so expensive. Some oils that I could not go without from them so far are: Frankincense, White Angelica, Valor, Tangerine, Joy, Ylang Ylang… i also love peppermint because helps with my Gut. I love your information! There are some oils i need that are very expensive. My hubby is already complaining so i may switch!
I have been using YL for a long time. My favorite is thieves! I swear by it. Lol I have recently been trying a few of Rocky Mountain and Dr Axe's. I don't care for Rocky Mountain blend oils so far though.
yes, good one! rosemary is the only oil that i've researched being effective in hair growth. I mix it with water and witch hazel and spray on after i wash my hair. But i will start putting together a video
One of my big issues with RMO and Revive are their blends. If you look at the ingredient list on many of their blends, they have added a carrier oil. Why add a carrier oil to a blend recommended for diffusing?! It's BS like that (cutting corners and hoping noone notices) that makes me leery. If they cut corners where we can see it, what is being done where we CANT see it?!
gf Young Living adds it sometimes too. Loyalty and Acceptance are just 2 I happened to grab and see carrier oils added to. I don't think it's necessary a bad thing. And with RMO at least the price reflects that it's diluted (not as $$$) and I don't think it's "hoping no-one notices" when it's clearly labeled on the bottle. Not trying to be super defensive but people always have a reason that YL is the best lol
Two questions. 1) Are any of Simply Earth oils able to be used internally or not? Like adding a drop of peppermint into your tea or coffee. 2) On the monthly box, do you choose your own oils or they just send you whatever? I like the $39.99 per month for a box, just wondered how that worked. I'm assuming then, all oils are the same price. Thank you!
Simply Earth's oils are pure + no fillers so they are safe to use in all ways you use essential oils. The monthly box is curated by them each month but you can swap oils out if you need to. The essential oils are not all the same exact price tho.
Can the Simply Earth oils be ingested? YL has the Vitality line that is safe to ingest. And how do you know which ones are safe? I'm very new to essential oils and am going broke buying from YL. I love the lemon, peppermint and ginger for using in my tea and the oregano, basil, thyme etc for cooking.
Young Living doesn’t smell as pungent/like plants. They smell too sweet. The reason this happens is because they distill to far. The longer a plant material is distilled, the less therapeutic it is. When you have been using EO for a while your nose will pick up on this right away. I’m NOT suggesting that YL oils are adulterated, but rather that they are not a high level therapeutic. I started with YL but then got to hate not being able to just order oils as I want. Now I use smaller reputable companies. My favorite is Purified Skin Therapy. They only produce either organic or wild crafted essential oils. Floracopeia is also an amazing company! One thing I don’t understand about Simply Earth is how they sell for that price point. One should ask questions when a company charges too much (young living) or charges too little for essential oils. A good quality EO cannot be sold for so cheap. A box is what $49? So that makes each oil a little of $10. That makes sense if they are all the oils that on the cheaper side like citrus. But then they also give you ingredients, bottles, stickers, recipe cards. And you’re saying they donate a portion. I’d love to know how this is possible.
Good point about simply earth. I was thinking the same a few days ago. The cheap prices are suspicious. Also, i am wondering why they are so against ingesting. I know, on one side oils should not be ingested without certified aromatherapist recommendations, but they can be with a help of one. They are against it completely so my thought is that maybe their oils are not that pure.
@@auroraaurora2420 After studying and using YL eo’s for years, it is my understanding that therapeutic oils are the only grade of oils safe for ingestion. That being said, YL says that - just due to the nature of the oil, some of their oils should not be ingested - and are clearly labeled as such. They are still safe for aromatherapy and to be put on your skin. I came here because I, too, was suspicious about the low cost of Simply Earth oils. Hearing that they encourage their customers to NOT ingest their oils just adds to my suspicion.
when a brand does not recommend ingesting oils it's usually a labeling thing, they have to do a lot of paperwork and spend a lot of money to meet the requirements for documentation for the Dietary Supplement Act. It doesn't mean their oils are not pure. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Thanks for watching. The Simply Earth box is a fantastic deal I think just because it's a recurring subscription. When you go on their site to purchase single oils the prices are in line with other brands. Thanks!
I have been using YL for a really long time but really would like to try simply earth since it is not so expensive. However, I do on occasion ingest oils and it makes me nervous about ingesting another brand. I was wondering if you know if it is safe to ingest simply earth?
I do a few drops in my water from time to time. I do think they’re good enough to ingest if you know what you’re doing and/or practicing with an aromatherapist 👍🏼
After studying and using YL eo’s for years, it is my understanding that therapeutic oils are the only grade of oils safe for ingestion. That being said, there are some oils - even therapeutic - that should not be ingested. They are still safe for aromatherapy and to be put on your skin. I know YL has two categories of eo’s: those safe for ingesting, and those not safe for ingesting. Their labels are colored differently for each category (one is colored, while the other is white), as well as warning labels on the appropriate bottles. I don’t know about other brands, so a little research would be beneficial.
Hi, Torey! Just found your channel :) I am curious if you have ever tested your oils at home with the paper method? I heard someone say that if you put a drop or two of an oil on a blank piece of white paper and after a few hours the oil spot disappears then you know the oil is pure. I went through a tested ALL of my oils and was SUPER disappointed to see more than half my oils (a mix of different brands) failed this test. Do you know if this is truly a good way of testing purity? Thanks in advance! 💕
Yes I've tried the paper method, i just don't think it's a legit way to measure quality. A lot of blends have coconut oil in them so it wouldn't work for those anyways
every business is a MLM--anytime you have a president or other executive that makes more than the workers, it is a mlm. some mlm's actually share their profits with everyone on a level basis not just all at the top
I only use young living so if you're going to continue to use other oils I will have to stop watching you. I have tried the Fum and am not happy to use it
What a strange comment. If you love a brand and ONLY want to use that brand then watch those videos. Why threaten to leave because someone else uses a variety?
Weird af. Just lock yourself in the closet and keep drinking that Kool aid. Definitely stay off TH-cam if you don't want to learn about different brands. Knowledge is power.
Love love love love how you are encouraging people to do their research all around ♡
Yes! It’s so important!
Simply Earth also gives 13% to stopping human trafficking-I really like that!
Thanks for the info!

One of the main reasons I started switching was the price. I get that for sure

I too use mostly Simply Earth essential oils. I love their monthly boxes
Torey, please can you make a video on what essential oils and other ways to help with hair regrowth? Thank you so much!
yes, good one! rosemary is the only oil that i've researched being effective in hair growth. I mix it with water and witch hazel and spray on after i wash my hair. But i will start putting together a video

I like Simply Earth because on the label they share so much info about the Oil - location, part of the plant, aroma to expect
I've seen that!!!
yes, love that

what are your thoughts about Edens Garden essential oils?
I haven’t tried them yet, but they’re next up on my list to compare to
Oh Shite! Haven't started the video yet but the title is SPPPIIICCEEEYY
Lol I had to compare them 😆
Do you use plant therapy as well?
Yes we do, just not as much

😂 no. Not the same. At all.
YL markup is 60%!
its crazy!
Great video!
Why would anyone want to put something on their skin that has been grown with pesticides? I like to encourage better farming, organic.
Other than the boat load of ums, this was pretty good. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
2023 no longer free postage, but if you spend over 100 you get free points and over 200 free oils
thanks!
Everything young living has great. Everything thing you do is MSM
What's MSM? Super curious.
Now oils are a Much more affordable option and they are wonderful. Don’t drink the young living blood😂
I only use young living so if you're going to continue to use other oils I will have to stop watching you.
I have tried the Fum and am not happy to use it

You have to stop? Did your upline tell you that you are not allowed to? :-o
Why do you have to stop watching her because she uses other oils ?! That’s so stupid. You sound like a cult member.
