I have been using young living for years now. I love them! I just stumbled upon your video. And what is super cool is I just got my first Simply Earth box and I am so impressed. So this was a cool video find. I will be subscribing.
I have been an YL member for years. But due to Covid my husband lost his job so I recently had to quit YL. YL shipping and fees were draining my account. I’ve done my research and I believe Simple earth has legit oils and much cheaper. Can’t wait to brew up some recipes!
I started YL during Covid. I was spending $100+ every month and loved their oils but really didn't know how to use them properly (I have many YL oils!). I could not afford to keep purchasing the YL but wanted to keep using EO. I'm so excited about the transparency of Simply Earth, prices and education! I have been using my oils WRONG! I'm excited to learn more! I think the SE monthly boxes along with recipes are amazing. It's time to get my EO off the shelf and start using them! FYI: I still use YL Digize, Thieves and Peppermint for ingesting!
Thanks for sharing this video. I love YL products and have not been interested in trying other oils - but I just ordered 2 from Simply Earth to try because of this video!
I am a member of Up but I'm not going to renew my membership after trying Simply Earth. I have been using essential oils for 15 years and have learned more from simply earth in the last 2 months!!!! The education is excellent and they are very budget friendly!!!
I’ve been using young living and love them and still plan to buy my thieves cleaner from them, but it gets so expensive super quickly. I just placed my simply earth order and used your code thank you. I’ve been doing research about simply earth, Rocky Mountain, and plant therapy the last few days.
That is just a labeling thing, they’ve paid and jumped through hoops to be able to label for ingestion. If you’re using high quality oils you can ingest (if the specific oil is safe and under safe circumstances)
So, I am trying to learn about essential oils and this video was very helpful. I've read through all the comments as well and read 2 comments that seemed like passive aggressive threats regarding the comparison of Young Living oils to other companies. I can honestly say that those comments have immediately turned me off to Young Living. It's just my opinion but I don't feel that any company has a right to tell me that I cannot compare it's product to another in order to find what works best for me and my family.
Hi! Thank so much for watching. Yes, the fact that I can’t compare to other brands is one of the reasons I’m no longer a brand partner. Young living has way too many rules and I’m not a fan of how their mlm structure works. Love the oils Tho!
I have and DoTerra cannot compare. I did the comparison long before I learned they stole from Gary Young and YL. DoTerra's oils are lifeless in my opinion
Hey, I’m new to your channel. Have you tried vitality extracts? I’ve been wanting to do YL but I just haven’t and I just subscribed to simply earth. But I’ve been buying from vitality extracts for about a year now..
Do you know if simply earth uses farms with pesticides? Thanks! Love YL oils, but would also love to see other companies come into this space and do it well, too. So many out there that aren't good; we need more good companies too. =)
I love Young Living and thank you for sharing fairly the pro's and con's. I really like how Young Living has their foundation to support other countries with human trafficking, to support women and children; plus helping to build schools. I agree Young Living has a lot of great oils and products.💛
I am curious how you are able to promote both YL and SE. I thought that YL frowned about this and deleted brand partners that promoted anything but YL. No judgement, just wondered how you got around this. Thanks for your videos.
I like them for different reasons, I don’t prefer one over the other tho. Simply earth is fun and I love the recipe boxes. Revive has great prices and all the dupes for YL
I’m curious to know if the simply earth is similar to revive? I bought revive and they are good, but I really feel like young living oils spell more pure if that makes sense. It’s almost like the revive oils smell a hit of plastic in comparison to the young living to me. So I switched everything to young living because they just feel superior to me… but I’m curious if the simply earth is a true comparison to young living?
I’ve never tried revive so I can’t comment on that, but I do feel like simply earth is just as good as Young living, I don’t see or smell or feel any differences in the oils.
The problem with Young living oils are you have no idea what the constituents are and in what percentages. For those of us who take our formulations seriously that’s a dealbreaker. I personally think the only reason Young living doesn’t disclose it, is because once you compared their GCMS to others you know that there’s no big difference for paying three times as much. Knowing the constituents is critical! Depending on the supplier if they have a bad season the oil‘s and their constituents will be different. With plant therapy, revive, simply earth, aromatics internationals and other such companies, you know exactly what those constituents are. With young living you have to trust them, and that company has a big problem over the years telling the truth.
I ❤ YL. I have been with YL for 4yrs almost. I like the fact YL test the soil & trees/leaves on any farms & new land for new farms for any toxic/chemicals. If they find anything in the soil or around the area they do not grow in that location❤. And yes, the seed to Seal was also another reason I went with YL. I also like that YL allows you to visit their farms & see how they get the oil from plant to bottle😊. I also like the fact YL offers a whole line of nontoxic products which includes makeup👍.
Young living is worried about somebody copying their formulation?? It’s an essential oil they don’t formulated they extract it and there’s only one way to do it for most oils and that steam distillation. So that excuse that young living gives, is useless.
I think it’s because how a plant is grown makes the constituents and levels etc. So the better it’s grown, harvested at peak time, and distilled for the right time and pressure and temp, the better the quality/constituents.
And explain to me how a GC/MS report will reveal how a plant is grown. It doesn’t. All a report will show is percentages of constituents. If YL thinks it’s constitutes are so much better, they would publish it in The NY Times, lol. There is no reasonable argument for withholding that report…except to hide from their followers that their oils are no better than any of the top companies and 3 times the price.
@@xrpgal1393 I don’t disagree with you on Young living, but I will stand with the GCMS report does show the quality of oil. Either way, I do think they should share their tests, I would appreciate that transparency.
Of course it shows the quality of the oil, that’s why everyone that knows about essential oils wants to see it. We base our therapeutic decision making on those constituents and look for the oil‘s that have the highest percentages. But it in no way, shape or form gives you any clue on how the plant or botanical was cultivated grown or anything else. And again, if young living oils were so much better than anyone else’s, that would be a reason for them to show that report. Then they would finally be able to live up to their claims that they are oils are better. But they can’t, so they’ll never show that report. Because once they do it’s over.
I love your videos! People who think MLMs are the devil are really missing out of a lot of high quality products! The paper test is debunked. It’s not a real way to test purity.
Also why I picked YL. The part that soil is tested and only They don't plant in soil thats had chemical pesticides and herbicides in the last 40 or 50 years. Don’t know of anyone that will guarantee their seed, soil like they do. I was on simply earth monthly subscription maybe 4+ years ago and loved their oils but I ingest oils and didn’t feel comfortable with this brand but for someone trying oils and new and or only diffuses these are great. I still have a few bottles and will do a compared to YL but the monthly box was a fun surprise but I still have oils that rarely get used and were in its monthly box but their variety is great & fun gift idea for someone your trying to get to try oils and can send a monthly box to as a gift for 3-6 months ❤️
I have used YL Since 1995 and the oils have never waivered in their quality. Because YL is the world leader in Essential Oils they are on the radar of the FDA and are monitored by what is said. What makes our oils stand out is SEED TO SEAL. That is HUGE. I appreciate your video but for me, I will stick with YL. You do not have to buy monthly if you do not want to and can spend what you want to!
It sounds a little bit like you’re dissing Young Living. If you do a little bit more digging you’ll find that Young Living has multiple apps that disclose all that information or you’re not constantly having to go dig through it on the website and the big game changer between Young Living and any other essential oil company is that they own their own farms. There are some companies out there that will put 5% by volume I’ll let’s say a 15 mill bottle and fill the rest with carrier oil. Also, I think it goes against YL policy for you to promote any other oil with YL.
I’ll start by saying that as a certified aromatherapist, I have searched on Young living site and called them requesting the GCMS report and I was told it was not available. There are other companies out there that grow their own stock. Aromatics international sources only from those distillers that grow their own botanicals. And although I will agree there are a lot of fraudulent oils out there. There are multiple companies that have high-quality oils at 1/3 the price of Young living. And unlike Young living, they supply the GC/MS reports. If you have a GC/MS report, you know there’s no adulteration in those oils. They go directly against the beliefs of both the national and international organizations on the uses of essential oils. And the company itself has been involved in plenty of shady dealings.
