The audio quality at 1:50 isn't great because I don't have a way to record directly from the sound module. It sounds great when wearing headphones or with a good quality speaker!
Oh my goodness that’s cool
You should give the traps a400 acoustic portable drums to try I've had a kid like that before and it sounded pretty decent
Sounds fine to me
Now make a mega e-kit
Looks like a cost-effective alternative. Very Nice!
That kit leveled up with the modern and clean sounds from the computer. Granted, the audio wasn't t recorded the same was as it was when you played live in the room on a speaker, but hey. Good stuff.
I saw that on Amazon before and wondered just how it would sound. Thanks man.
It must have taken you a lot of time to prepare, the recording part is really impressive!!😲😲 Thanks for the video😆
So nice the drum is.
Drum go boom!
Also congrats on 300k
Nice. Usually I'm thinking the Alesis is the budget one to go for.
Well for what you are getting they definitely are budget friendly (although their kits can go into the 2000+ category but compared to Roland with the same stuff it's budget friendly still)
Hey, one of my firends just killed themselves and your videos have really been helping me and over the years have helped me grow as a drummer so thank you do much.
...what?
hope you are you recover
Nice! You upgraded your studio set up since last time I saw 😁
Playing along with the song presets was hilarious. Well done. 😂🎉❤
There is a new set the Fesley FED 1000 and it has some interesting features like a moving cymbal and a pedal bass drum
it looks pretty clean and its price is good
Sweet! 💚💚🥁🥁💚💚🥁🥁
The song you recorded at the end sounds like something straight out of the soundtrack to Doom or Doom II. 😁
3:13 ah yes the good old 69 and blast beat 😃
That PA is ridiculous :D
we’re going to the Chattanooga and Memphis BOA this year 😍
Video one of commenting until emc makes pumpkin tenors for haloween
Loved the intro
You should make a set of tenors out of drumset toms
Good Morning!!!
Good evening
I was worried it only had the preset sounds 🤣🤣. Missed a chance to rap over that beat !
This was fun. Thanks.
Up until he hooked it up into GarageBand to play some halfway decent samples, this thing was unquestionably garbage. But if someone is just looking for a cost-effective set of triggers to use with a DAW and real samples (and they don't have any need to convey nuance or dynamics because you don't play with nuance or dynamics), then it might not be half bad. I just wish it was anything close to an honest review though.
I think a little of that was heading through the speaker and room mic.
@@TheSalPic the thing being it just sounds like hit drum play sound, so if you hit a drum twice, once before the one before it ends, the first one is cut off and it sounds unnatural
Amazing how you get a drum throne, headphones and pedals for a bit more than 200 along with the rest of the kit and how you are not getting that with a kit of more than 4000 (but then again you do need an actual hi-Hat stand and bassdrum pedal with a kit that expensive)
Module looks good
5:26 nice beatz 😃😃
i absolutely loved the first 10 seconds of the video lmao
important question, can you program, can you program the pedals as a double bass instead of bass and hi-hat?
Your title is a bit misleading were yoy say you 'ordered' the drum set when actually it was sent to you, as you explained.
I understand this is sponsored, but if someone is looking for a cheaper "electronic" "drum" set. I think an old Rockband or Guitar Hero(did they have drums?) would be cheaper.
Are they "good"? Probably no. Do they feel accurate? Probably no. Are the drums and cymbals in the right place? Probably no.
Are they cheap? Maybe.
At first i was like, yeah It may be cheap, but you don't have to show it over a microphone because it will all sound bad, but luckily you had it connected later in the video.
Are the cymbals chokeable? Thanks.
To be honest, this would kill a beginners enthusiasm. It's a kit for a very good player who is fully confident of his skills.
A person starting on this will lose confidence immediately and either quit for good or spend serious money on something impressive, not a clack-rattling hello kitty kit.
A crap drummer will say its garbage... a bad worker blames his tools.
Big Animusic Vibes at the end
I got the Aodsk drum kit for Fathers Day and it’s practically identical to this. So far I like it, but the one thing I feel like is it sits really low. Any thoughts or suggestions on that? The only thing I can think of is risers. Any other ideas are appreciated.
thanks, hey they are velocity sentive?
3:15 Up top, my brother!
Ok I’ve been wanting to know for awhile, what does EMC stand for
When is My Hertas 3 going to come out?
Good morning and this is video number 211 of asking for marchable bass drums, set up in a tenor formation. I.e. benor drums.
PS: custom backbar may be needed
Do any of the programmed kits have a double bass kick option?
I clicked the link. There now $279.00 which for that money I'll just spend 20 more and go with the Alesis Nitro for $299.00 Thanks for the review though. Koto on Brother!
Do all E-kits make that "tapping" sound? ur playing it and im hearing the drum but im also hearing the annoying tap from hitting the kit itself
I mean yes but if you wear headphones you won't hear it
@Momonoskia my sister will when she's trynna sleep though 😭😭
@@learningwithaaron 😭
You should be there on UD band day on sept 23rd. high schoolers from Sussex Central High School will be there. (we know ur cadences :D). It’s gonna be fun :)
Hey i rember hearing the marching band medley and groove cadence in the first drumline movie and the first part was SOOO COOL i was hoping maybe one day you could try to transcribe or just play it yourself for a video i would love to see it
Do you still react to band performances?
yo whens the mixtape dropping
😂
You should try something Blue Man Group related.
any tips to speed my playing ability up? some sections of some songs/cadences, I cant seem to keep up in.
Always practice with a met. Always play with good technique. No exceptions to those 2. Then, practice your rudiments, as they build the foundation for most of what you'll be playing; many exercises for this. Finally, you could try resistance drumming, like playing 8s repeatedly on a soft pillow with solid technquie and stick control, making sure to "play through the head". However, this is more useful for getting more volume of the drum versus playing faster. But it is deliberate, which could make your playing more confident and therefore better.
If all that fails, just play lower. Lower is faster. If your line is stringent about matching stick heights, perhaps everyone could benefit from playing fast/tricky sections lower.
i got a Donner DED-300 on sale for 125$
I miss when you used to announce an unboxing by proclaiming that you had a big package.
First, good morning!
Correct! Good work. and good morning.
Mesh heads for $300. Not bad for a beginner.
You should learn to play caravan from whiplash on the drums in 66.6 minutes.
Your PA speaker is ANGRY!
dak dak da buzzzzzz
Nice
put some moon gels on it
Why’s your speaker so angry?
6:53 Sounds like a Nine Inch Nails song.. Kind of
This acts like real?
Hi
Not too bad for a kid 6-10 years old to start on
Yo
Video 156 of asking for the full Freebird Guitar Solo on the Megatenors
264 to go
Day five of asking for tenors, made out of concert snare drums
I did not know marching drums and kit drums had so little in common. You are a god at marching drums but almost play like an amateur on this set. Might just be the sound of the kit that is putting me off.
Just demo the drumkit, who cares about the metronome and the canned songs.
how are you so good at standing drums and yet so bad at playing the drums how is that a thing ?
He's really not bad at all. He's just often too stiff, which makes a lot of sense. Also, you're throwing in two more limbs, of course.
Drumset and marching drumline are 2 completely different things lmao
I believe that tempo accuracy is something one is born with. Those that don’t have it do not understand why those that do you have it feels so restricted and even insulted by having to play with a metronome. It’s just my opinion. I don’t use Music or charts either… I memorize every measure of every song and retain it for years, even decades, moreover it is absolutely effortless for me to do this… It happens whether I mean for it to or not. This also bugs the hell out of people who can’t play a note without sheet music. At stage band contests way back in high school, (class of 77) it even showed up on adjudication sheets where some judges noticed that I was playing without any music stand at all, and wondering how in the world I did that. No professional drummer I ever saw used sheet music or charts, so it never occurred to me that I was supposed to … I thought everybody had an eidetic memory when it came to music, plus, what they handed out as sheet music for the drum set was a joke. Fortunately, my band Director just didn’t care… In fact he was kind of proud of it. I literally stored complete recordings of songs in my head that I could play back at will so my ‘tempo memory’ was better - more accurate and reliable, than his was, and so he started just having me count the songs off myself.
