I'm an Egg Foo Young guru. Two things to tell ya, when eating your egg roll pour soy sauce first in the roll then pour sweet n sour for great taste also pour soy sauce over egg foo young after breaking it up and mixing it with rice. I moved out of Chicago years back and I miss my favorite dish.

But as a little kid I would only get wonton soup then I graduated to shrimp and lobster sauce then later on high school in college I would get veggie egg foo yong and the college roommates would make fun of me because I wasn’t getting their basic bitch orders of wonton soup and eggrolls my parents used to go to Chinatown a lot and take us to Chinatown a lot in NYC: and my mother cooked a lot of Chinese food so I had a broader pallet than my Dipshit college roommates but egg foo young is good… if you’re broke it’ll fill you up for sure
