Oh my 2011, I had to cover the night/day sensor to change the colors. If you don't it won't work if it's daytime. I used a napkin to cover the sensor. Works great and looks really cool now. It's my wife's car,.so the gauges are hot pink now with purple ambient. She loves it.

Yes ,Thanks! I have a 2012, but it's probably similar. At least now, I sorta know where to go about looking for the right buttons to push! Not even the manual explains it very well. It looks like it tells me to go under the stirring wheel to switch the colors! way weird.

Just got a Mustang today. It didn't come wit the manual so I was having issue figuring it out. I was able to find the manual online. Although this would have been much easier.
i just bought a 2011 v6 premium atleast it was advertised as premium and my instrument panel does not even have the four gauges in the middle like yours does mine only has the two on the top, and ive been thru all of the options in the list and none of them are gauge color, i guess i was lied to? i dont have cup holder lights or mustang words lit up either wtf
Renownedd One That's not a premium model. Does it have leather seats? If not, you got lied to and not having leather seats. It's a clearly means is not a premium.
Oh I just found Ford's tutorial for Ambient lighting (th-cam.com/video/UxnQ4CBr4Jc/w-d-xo.html). Yours was much easier to find than there's but anyway that's the link to the official Ford "How To" change ambient lighting and create MyColors and all that. Your video was just as helpful though lol.
