  • Hey everyone! Today we're checking out some very special African cichlids. These are very rare fish that you've likely never heard of, but are stunning and well worth your attention.     If you want to breed them leave the lights off for about a week or so works every time

      Also I've had luck getting my malawi fish to breed by simulating season changes by lowering and raising the temp and playing with the light cycle just to trick their little scitzo fishy brains, I don't know exactly when breeding season is in lake malawi but I'm guessing it's when it gets cooler cuz that's when my fish always seemed to do their crazy mood swing bs and the males would have a royal rumble for a few days till all the females are holding lol

      Wow I'm jealous; Australia looks amazing. But yea, that must be an unfortunate downside, not being able to find all the fish you want.
