All the things that are cash grabs are things you either A) dont need, or B) can get for free but takes more time And I say this as someone who HATES spending money on virtual content I cant hold in my hand b/c it makes me feel stupid. its nice to who still playing for a long time, but for new players or new accs is crazy how far the time capsules gone...is close to impossible to get some old styles without spend a lot of money or get out of the game buying in some sites...this is why so many people left and dont want to go back...this is why i love more games like Guild Wars 2...have the style in broker..you buy with gems or gold earned in game...and simple enough, they should add something like that, some system thats dont envolve "luck"...anyways
I've said after about 7 capsules, they need to make older capsule feats purchasable on MP, and put the styles on MP for those who just want styles from capsules but don't care about the feats. There should multiple ways to achieve the feats in capsules. Is why I stopped playing back in Feb, because of the p2w that is endless. That and they've always claimed they didn't have the resources to do new powers but every 3-4 months pushed new capsules, arts ect out, became too much much for me to keep supporting the game.
There's no reality where these are worth 3 Stabilizers, that bit already annoys the hell out of me. But I'll have to bite that apple unfortunately, missed a ton of TCs over the years. I genuinely want a bunch of these styles.

I've been playing pso2ngs in that game when you open a specific amount of loot boxes you get to choose whatever you want out of that loot box I know people that have been trying to get the rare void collection to drop for 5 year
I feel like they should do this once annually, just in case you take time away from the game. I've personally missed out on like the last 5-6 TC's, and have been buying them from the broker to get the collections and style feats.
You can buy as many as you want from the Quarks machine vendor for $250 each. I'm guessing a lot of people bought 999 for 249,750 and resold for a lot more. There's still people that don't know they are in that vendor.

Used to be very big spender but stopped due to the fact lack of reward creativity, recycled rewards even the booster bundle ones and speed hacks. Now I'm Spending my money elsewhere and feels good like I'm doing the right thing.

Shame i got hyped for nothing thinking it was the time capsule for the black adam ally (i have a sneaking suspicion it was be a healer ally) so was kinda excited for it even tho i'm sure it'll be a scam too. (Going off track here a bit) been waiting for double artifact xp boost. Ive been grinding like crazy the last 3 weeks. Got enough catalyst and xp to take 2 arts 200 without paying and i been grinding skill points. Got about 51 in the last 2 weeks nearly at 400 (which isnt a lot to most but ive been solo my entire time on dc so its a big accomplishment for me) Back on topic- But yea this time capsule is giving off desperate vibes. I wish they'd just sell the game or pass it over to new devs, i don't want it to end yet but it's clear they're rhnning out of ideas, we haven't had a new power in years, the last new movement was a reskin, also years ago, i believe shield was the last new weapon ever added (but not sure about that) which was also years ago, a lot of content takes place in a reskin of a reused area/zone like so many dlcs take place in a reskin of gotham for example, they've conpletely moved away from open world building, theres so much empty content in gotham and metropolis open world that could be used that just isn't. I can honestly say. The last dlc they put effort into was probably Atlantis, or patchwork (i'm also biased though so could just be me) i absolutely loved when atlantis was thr current dlc, i enjoyed doing the silent school/raids, and patchwork i'm not all that into WW lore but the dlc was the first unique DLC and brought so much content with it, now we are back to "do your dailys and go" i don't even want to get into the scam that is time capsules or allys, i wouldn't have an issue with time capsules if they weren't required. There are so many styles in time capsules directly tied to feats as well as collections which isn't cool.

I'll probably bite on these a bit only because I refuse to pay billions for the very few collection pieces that I need to complete multiple sets. That being said, I'm not going to spend any cash on these, just whatever I have saved up from my monthly Daybreak bucks. If the drop rates weren't so astronomical, it wouldn't be an issue. Also- either no style has a feat attached, or make them all have feats attached.
Of course it would be nice if they release more new base items and styles, but on the other hand it's nice that we have a chance to get old rare styles.

I was hoping you had news there was a method to obtain it. I see apex predators in Death Metal D.C. wielding it - I am quite jealous.
DCUO has a habit of removing older weapon styles. That one used to be earned in Hive Alert and some ingame treasure chests but don't believe anyone has seen it in quite some time.
@@ObsidianChill Tech Ninja Sword? there's several style you can ONLY get from Treasure Boxes in specific instances. Liked the Gemmed Staff style... gotta hunt treasure boxes in alerts to find one... or not..
I got most of the ninja tech set a couple weeks ago (hands, head, back, legs, chest) from playing old Gotham subways all day long. It seems to drop a lot of old styles. I also got the entire energy armor style from there as well which is really neat. Got the angelic head piece, shaman headpiece....etc

Why are they so lazy to not just give us assets already in game and work on them to be player used? It’s pure laziness. Theres so many in game things they can just downscale into base items or NPC styles to give us, but no, they can’t even be bothered to do the work for that.
I'm averse to their gambling loot boxes on principle so anything they put out for the whales I'm fine with as long as feats arent in them behind their RNG paywall. these specifically just seem like they are spiraling downhill especially for the cost
I never understood why people sell collection pieces worth more than the collection reward itself, I'm only missing one piece for the doll skin, the collection piece I'm only missing is "Porcelain Luster", but some annoying person put it for 999mill on broker :I, I'm not spending that on 1 collection piece.
I think those new capsules will be really good for the in-game economy, it could help to lower the prices of that old shit that nobody has and some ppl still need only for the feats

Honestly I’m sick and tired of time capsules except the booster one which opened all capsules, specially when u need one piece of gear left u could open 100 capsules and still not get it which is BS. We should be given a list of everything in that capsule and have the choice to choose what we want seeing how it’s are money like real money paying for this BS to get nothing.

Personally, I don't want feats tied to time capsules because the styles and emblems are meaningless to me and the game forces you to buy them because 4-5 skill points are directly tied to each TC release. So if the game wants to rehash old TC releases I can see the positive that it helps players earn those styles/feats and I can see the positive that there are no new TC feats. I do however see how this is bad for the game because obviously either the new art team is terrible or like you said the devs don't care about us.

These Capsules are a Waste of Time, I have the Crappeist luck on trying to get anything good out of these things, a 1% percent Chance of getting an Exotic is a Reason why I'll never try and open any of these

While it isn't great that it cost 3 stabilizers, it has given me a chance to get some of the gear I wasn't able to get the first time.
It's a hard pass if you already have the stuff in the capsules but if you missed out on a few of the items from older capsules, it's a given.

I promise you it won’t. The real market players will hold all the rare items for months and then sell it for exorbitantly high prices.
This makes it easier for the bad guys to get the items they're holding hostage. None of the big collections are going in broker

Honestly I’m sick and tired of time capsules except the booster one which opened all capsules, specially when u need one piece of gear left u could open 100 capsules and still not get it which is BS. We should be given a list of everything in that capsule and have the choice to choose what we want seeing how it’s are money like real money paying for this BS to get nothing.

Personally, I don't want feats tied to time capsules because the styles and emblems are meaningless to me and the game forces you to buy them because 4-5 skill points are directly tied to each TC release. So if the game wants to rehash old TC releases I can see the positive that it helps players earn those styles/feats and I can see the positive that there are no new TC feats. I do however see how this is bad for the game because obviously either the new art team is terrible or like you said the devs don't care about us.
