These are the best jeans out, 501 fit without the large cuff at the bottom, they fit well with most shoes. Boots not so much because the taper is narrow at the bottom. They run about $45 on the US.
I was trying out all the styles, 511s are still way too tight on me. I've always bought the 501's but now that I've bought the iron rangers, Corcoran plaint toe boots, and the black thorogood beloit boot I want to show off the boot. The 502's are perfect!! Just enough of an opening on the leg to show off these badass boots and still have the comfort of the 501's. Hopefully they don't discontinue the 502's.
You are half right. If you are buying your Levi's at Walmart or anywhere other than an official Levis store then you are right. The label on the back of the Jeans is worthless. Two pairs of Jeans with the same specs can fit completely differently. I will only buy my Levi's at this one store in Tampa that is a store dedicated for Levi's clothing because of this problem. At that store the sizes are consistent. Not sure why. But they are not cheap. Cost about $55 per pair of pants.
I bought 2 pairs of these and they fitted well at first. After washing them a few times and sending them to the dry cleaner they stretched and feel loose now
@nellek970 you're welcome, I've been throwing them in the tub with HOT water and drying them in the hottest setting and they are shrinking, maybe not like when i bought them but its better then looking like loose fit jeans. Just dont send them to dry cleaners. Thats when i started to notice they got wider and wider. Hot wash only. Or like you said just don't wash them. That would als the work.
@nellek970 i tell you , my jeans turned into original straight pants after washing them a few times... so what i did was put them in the tub with hot water and about 2 tablespoons of fabric softener. Let them sit for 20 min then dry on high heat. Repeat the process 3 times.... you can try 2 times and try them on. 3 times worked for me. The only CON is that they might loose a bit of color. Let me know how that works. Ohhhhh!! One more thing. If you wash them again. Do it by hand with hot water.

@@jonathanartiga5320hot water is actually known to remove the color/dye from jeans. Putting them in the dryer after just makes the color loss worse. Hopefully you aren’t rinsing them after the hot bath at least 😅
