In my personal opinion, only cons in Ignis is that its Steering doesn't come to its original centre point position after lock to lock turning.
I took a test drive of Punch and Exter the day before yesterday, According to my perspective,punchs suspension are rugged ,Punchs looks are rugged ,punchs rear seat comfort is far better than exter means that 3 person can comfortably sit on the rear in punch,punchs tyre size is much better than exter,punchs approach and departure angle are very much from exter,Punchs seating is much much higher than Exter which gives more Suv feel,so as per my opinion,Punch is much more value for money car than Exter.whereas Exter looks like grand I10.
What about Engine refinement, power and pick up, engine reliability, resale value, after sell service response, six airbags from base variants, interior look quality etc ? Which is better in these?
Punch is overall complete package. An excellent example of family car.😊

Cruise control तो बाहर से भी लगाया जा सकता है, इसी चॅनेल पर बताया गया है ..। Exter के पीछे के दोनो wheels और body me अंतर कम हैं, उसको hard springs डालकर अंतर बढ़ाना होगा ।

I wouldn't sell my ignis . Drove exter . Exter feels much premium inside & rear much comfortable but ,for me punchyness of ignis takes the priority
its becoz maruti cars are usually lighter....... ignis weights 825kg and exter 1000kg

@@RajeevAwasthi1 who said heavy car's can't be quick . For example Xuv 300 , brezza aren't light but feels much quicker than Nexon . Weight is just one part of the story not full . Tuning of enging & suspension also effects it . Steap suspension are infant better than soft as it got less travel so dosent touch the ground when 4 people are sitting .

No problem in ignis steering. Beautiful engine, great suspension in terms of body roll n fun too drive. Exter better on features n safety (may be) . Poor leg space in exter even poor suspension. Exter is good car, ignis is not at all bad car...
1. Exter base will comes in only white/limited colours only I think.
2. 14 inch wheels.
3. Ignis has 4 rear parking sensors. Not sure about Exter.
4. Front exterior panels of exter are not strong as punch. Even ignis's feels better than exter (Personal Opinion).
5. Seeing some exters with body almost touching the tyre when there are more than 4 passengers.
6. Exter's body role is more comparing to ignis because of soft suspension.
Some compromises and cost cuttings done by the Hyundai are also noticeable to buyers. 😜
I understand you have put these points to give feel good factor to ignis owners 😂

01:34 refinement difference between ignis and exter is just 19-20. My friend owns ignis amt and I have recently bought exter amt so refinement wise there’s no drastic difference but ignis has better mileage and punchy engine. And exter engine is better than punch engine.
Try both the manuals.

yes I have observed too that its strange suddenly couple of big channels almost in same period promoted the same car after long time its launched.
Exter is a garbage... thats why Hyundai is paying a lot to these type of channels to promote Exter

Exter is not a SUV,its suspension are same of I10 nios,engine is of nios,seating height is of nios,looks are like nios or any other hatchback,tyre size is of nios, so why we call it Suv.

Meri choice 1.2amt wagon r & Exter 1.2amt. Maruti engine punchy bht hai aur mileage bhi 23 - 24 ki aram se highway pe. Exter amt ki mileage 20-21 highway pe.
Wagon r ka drawback top model me cruise control nhi aata aur na hi back camera aata hai.
Exter me sabhi featuers hai.
Maruti engines makes you feel punch as car itself is lightweight.
The engine itself is not punchy. Put same engine in similar tata car and see.

You can see the height between road and bumper of Exter,which is too low,it is more lower than Ignis,so why hyundai is calling it Suv.
It has 185mm ground clearance which is more than enough for Indian roads

I have driven both ignis and exter and I can tell you if you are driving enthusiast you will blindly bet on Ignis and if you want gimmick features then it's exter for you.. gadi ki Jaan hi engine hota hai, exter ke engine m dumm hi nahi hai.. that car literally cries while picking up 😂
A brand not giving proper price to their own 2nd hand vehicles is very common. I have changed cars thrice and I have seen this behaviour with all 3 cars. Nano was valued less by Tata, Eon was valued less by Hyundai, and Wagon-R was valued less by MS. I guess all brands do the same.

एक माह पहले भोपाल में vw workshop में dsg खुला था। बिना कोई part बदले वापस लगाया गया। Clutch एवं dmf flywheel बदलवाने की कह रहे थे लेकिन मैंने नहीं बदलवाया क्योंकि car केवल 26000 km चली थी। बाढ के पानी में टायर 95% तक डूब गयी थी। Gear lever के नीचे का पूरा set मैंने company का बदलवाया क्योंकि उसमे पानी भर जाने से signal नहीं पहुंच रहे थे तथा lever shift नहीं हो रहा था।
गाडी चल रही है लेकिन आगे left side में घरर-घरर की आवाज आने लगती है जो लगातार नहीं आती है। Jerck भी लगते हैं हल्के से कभी-कभी।
मैंने clutch और flywheel इसलिए नहीं बदलवाने क्योंकि service centre अपना estimate बढाना चाहते थे। गाडी मेरी नयी रखी थी बस पानी भर गया।
इसके अलावा मैंने youtube में देखकर gas pedal को दबाये रखकर घर पर setting कर दी जिससे अब गाडी की आवाज ज्यादा आ रही है तथा engine में vibrations हैं। मुझे क्या करना चाहिये कि मेरी car सही हो जाये बिलकुल फहले जैसी।

I have Exter AMT. I feel its steering is heavy as compared to Exter Manual..I test drove Exter Manual and felt its steering to be super light...but in my Exter AMT it is not so....is it true or its just my feeling ?

I believe there is something wrong with reviewers these days…i feel like i do not relate to there observations more so now than before…exter is an excellent product…but let us not call it more than what it is…its not an over the top premium or excellent product to the point we start to undermine the punch or the ignis which belongs to a lower segment altogether…and last i drove the Ignis its steering was perfectly fine…the interior has held pretty well…its not cheap like the wagon r…handling again the exter handles good but i feel like ignis has better weight distribution over the speed range…let us learn to call a spade a spade.
