I was sitting here wondering why dancing started to look more and more dumb, and came to this conclusion as well. People just got lazy
And become more and more sexualised. All that hip thrusting started with Elvis in the 50s by the looks of it. Basically, it's all his fault.

I like the 1970's dances. Don't really know why they just seem to be the best expressions of party dancing to me. Like if you're dancing like that, you're really enjoying the party.
Okay the way I see dance changing is that back in the day a lot of dancing was in the legs. And then over time it moved more into the arms, which also means it appears less energetic. I also think that means it looks a bit stiffer now.

Yeah this would take me years
In order to be cool at something, it takes an uncool amount of time to learn
- xXPuppetMasterXx - I mean this is the only thing I’ve watched from them, but I’m assuming they’re dancers, which probably means they memorize dances all the time, so if my younger 7 year old self could learn a dance in 2 months of weekly dance classes, they could probably learn a 4 minute dance in about a week.
