Cooee Becky, you can pick up a large salad spinner, cheep from charity shops and spin your fabric before you put them out to dry. Works a treat. Saves having to wash towels after using them to dry your material. Hooroo Alda, Say Hi to Keith for me. xxx Alda Perth West. Auzzie.

Haha...Command strips fail me all the time! It's so dry here in AZ I think that's why they dry up and let go. Had one in the shower that held a holder for shampoo and it let go and nearly killed me and scared the cat to death!

If you can only do one, then probably Red, White, and Bloom. You can hang that quilt from Memorial Day thru Labor Day, whereas the Halloween quilt would only be up a couple of weeks, if that, depending on when you put out Halloween decs.

Spray in insulation will not keep small animals (rats, mice, skunks, etc.) from clawing their way through it.
I think my problem was geckos. We have a ton of them in the garden on the other side of the wall. Only the sheetrock had damage - the exterior brick is intact. I didn't see evidence of mammals. But if I see any, I'll get hubs down there to fix it right. Thanks!
Put steel wool around the pipe before the spray foam. Critters will not chew into the steel wool! 🥰👍

Hello, quick question about leaving machines on. What about storms? I still work full time and in IOWA we have storms pop up all the time. Also unexpected power outages happen in the rural where I live. My brother dealer told me to pull the plugs of my machines when not in use. Thoughts???? Love your channel. Thank you for all the work you put into your video's.
I completely agree with your dealer. Whenever there is any type of storm that could provide a power surge, you should unplug your machines. We don't get those types of storms very often like you do, but when they are possible, I always pull the plug from the machine.

Looking forward to the room reveal. I have the KB Red White and Bloom supplies now and anxious to get started. Going to do the cutting out of the SVG files and doing a test on scrap fabric to be sure everything fits like it should. I trust Kimberbell SVG files, but I almost always test something new to me on one small block. Happy sewing!
Katie, it's been my experience that the KB SVG files could be just a tiny bit larger. Like +2mm. Yes, test first.

That quilt is Sew by Row and it's not finished yet. A couple more months yet to go. :)
You are lucky. I live in rural itsy bitsy place and to get one small bathroom framed in a commercial shop space has me 9 months on the wait list. I have waited 1.5 years to get a plumber to hook up water heater.

Do you know of a ipad app to keep track of all your machine embroidery thread.
Is there one? ha Don't think so. I keep track of mine on an Excel spreadsheet in Office 365. I have a column for small spools and large by brand. WISH there was an app for that! lol
Loved your video today and the other day about hacking. You gave a lot of helpful information. Thank you very much. Also I like the ironing board you have and this is what I am looking for as it looks like you have storage underneath. Would you mind letting us quilters know how you put your ironing board together? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am going to have to check out the quilt shop in Moscow, Idaho, they sound terrific.

My ironing board is actually a 3-drawer Hemnes dresser from IKEA. I've found the top to be a bit small so Keith is making me a new top that will fit over the top of it.
