Kecap Manis is a sweet, fragrant and thick soy sauce that is used in a ton of Indonesian dishes.it is super easy to make your own!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup palm sugar/brown sugar/white sugar
1 inch ginger (crushed)
3-4 garlic (crushed)
3 star anise
Tip:
You can use any soy sauce, dark or light.
You can add coriander seeds or black pepper powder if you want.
Adjust cooking time according to the sauce thickness
You can adjust ingredients to your preference, it does not need to be exact.
