Mike Florio, my thought is that Pierce's wife filed the bankruptcy petition because he refused to do so, she is afraid of losing all their assets, so she took action.
She filed for him. I’m sure they were trying to keep this as hush as possible but it’s him that’s on the hook.
Don't know if he's eligible to be coach of the Raiders anymore, but is definitely eligible to be POTUS😂

These are likely personal guarantees from business loans. Given his income it is likely he wasn’t able to file yet or there are questions about the validity of his guarantees. This is so the Raiders😂
a cousin of mine did 6yrs for the exact same thing back in the 1990s in new jersey. he wasn't a financier but he worked at the dealership and helped cover up the records. the whole thing was mobbed up - my understanding is pierce has done this before.

I’m extremely conservative when it comes to money. It is part of the reason I’m getting divorced as my ex-wife-to-be likes to spend money like a drunken sailor. My apologies to drunken sailors but not to her. But I see people a lot who get a nice nest egg then roll the dice with more investments, trying to make that one big final score. But I think most people think they can only maybe lose what they have, worst-case-scenario. It’s not really true. It’s like shorting a stock - something I wouldn’t have the nerve to do - as I believe the potential losses are technically open-ended as you agree to buy back the stock at a future price, and it’s price can grow like bamboo. If you make investments you can open up yourself to all kinds of losses, too numerous to nearly list here.

A persons financial woes is a personal problem, it’s no one else’s business and shouldn’t effect a person’s performance on the job site, I have known people and worked with people and been guilty of major debt myself and your job simply doesn’t care as long as you get your job done while you are there, if anything being at work helps take your mind off situations like this, whatever happens after work is on you, Im sure AP is Tough enough to deal with his financial stress when he’s away from the Raiders and Be Tough enough to coach the Raiders when he’s there with the Raiders.

Large amounts of debt, in the biggest gambling location, with the ability to significantly influence games. That’s the definition of a high risk employee for the NFL. Not saying he has or will do anything improper, but perception of league integrity is a major concern with this situation.

Bankruptcy is public knowledge. It means you default on promises. It’s a pretty big deal. Nobody should be in a position of power that can’t follow through on financial obligations.
