Europe makes all the sense in the world financially for the NFL. Logistically it makes no sense at all to permanently locate teams in Europe.
All the US military bases in Europe may think different. Their Permanent.
Nobody likes 6am games, but NFL is greedy so it will keep happening.

It makes sense for the European games to stay as they are. Especially in the UK. All NFL fans here support different teams so you're not going to get a stadium of Jags fans. I mean i guess it will be like the Chargers home games
The judge not ruling as a matter of law prior to the jury deliberating makes me think he won't overrule their verdict if they find the NFL guilty. It makes me think that the judge thinks there's enough there for them to decide on. Because if it wasn't, he'd just be wasting everyone's time to allow it to go to verdict.

Why not? The west coast teams are really the only ones that would be an issue. The flights from the east coast to the west coast are a longer distance than from the East Coast to London.
@@brianmurray7980 bear in mind that pretty much every NFL team and player operates on a strict schedule in terms of when they wake up, eat, practice, watch film, receive treatment, go to sleep, etc etc. The typical travel day for road games is disruptive enough already, but flying overnight to a different country on the other side of the ocean is an entirely different animal. They could bring back the Concorde or invent teleportation, and things like jet lag would still remain a major issue for any teams traveling and playing abroad.
As a Dallas fan for 37 years we are bout 22nd best team. Poor management, poor qb play, and poor coaching. We need a complete overhaul.

With your understanding of the finances of the NFL, take a guess: Take an average performing team, what is the level of profitably of this team per year? Since teams are private enterprises, we have no knowledge of their profitably. Take a stab; does 5 million per year sound right?
Don't forget the nfl has to go up against uk football which has been going on longer than the nfl

Florio has been the main voice hollering about the Jags moving to London when there hasn't be any actual evidence suggesting it was ever an option. The Jags have been mediocre or worse for years now and this fan base has been just as loyal as any. The Jags leaving Jacksonville was never going to happen. Every other major league has international teams. Blue jays, raptors, a few nhl teams. Those leagues all have a draft. I get London is a lot further, and I wouldn’t want to move to London. But it’s possible to be an international sports league

Rofl, Mike would just tear down the NFL HE would have them run as individual businesses, just teams that play each other. No rules for the teams or players, no salary cap, no revenue sharing, no draft. Just pure open unfettered capitalism. There would be 3 or 4 wealthy teams that completely dominate everything and everyone else would be fodder for those teams.
Games wont get more traction in the UK until the NFL get them shown on terrestrial tv here. If they could get it on, say, channel 4 every week more people would be able to see and get involved. At the moment it’s only available, live, on paid for tv. Wouldn’t make the NFL so much money initially though.
Is the sport really even that big in the UK though? I honestly feel like a majority of the fans at those games are Americans that traveled overseas for a vacation and to see there team play. I could be wayyyyyy off to but it’s just a thought of maybe why it hasn’t taken off like the NFL expected. Also think having a team over there would be ridiculous. Players moving around states is one thing but to possibly have to move your family to another country across the ocean sounds kind of dumb to me.
But isn't that the point of all the teams playing over seas so when US cities vote down these obscene cost of new stadiums that they move over seas ? That after the American consumers have helped build this league over the last 100 years !

The reason elected officials are able to pass non-popular bills is because our system is a republic. And these stadiums are profitable for the city. Just because the majority of people don’t want something doesn’t mean it’s not necessary

27 miles an hour is impressive. I'm 58 and can do about 10 miles in 2 hours outside. 5 days a week! Even on a stationary bike 27 miles in 60 minutes is cooking!

Florio, the international games aren’t likely to draw big tv dollars since viewership is likely to be much smaller from the US and Europeans follow other sports.

Jacksonville doesn't deserve a team. Florida has shown itself to be fairweather fans just like L.A. To me a town like Green Bay and the surrounding area appreciate and support their team much more than Jacksonville.

There’s always been many more established teams with way lower attendance numbers than Jacksonville. The fact is, no team is having that issue in the NFL right now. But if you go by current numbers, go talk to Vegas or Chicago or … In fact, there’s more than 20 teams that bring fewer fans to their home games.

I live in St Petersburg, originally from the Buffalo area. All Florida teams have the same problem, fans move here from other states and bring their allegiances with them. If the Bucs play a Midwest or northern team half the stadium is opposing fans. Yes, there are plenty of Bucs fans but it’s just a different football culture than up north….
Enough on all the personal stuff....no one cares.....stick to NFL Football.
