Great shopping trip. I can't believe how inexpensive some of your produce is compared to where I live in the US. Our egg prices have gone up again. $4.53 at Aldi last week. Didn't buy any. celery was $1.50 this week and I did get some. The last couple times I've gone grocery shopping, almost everything I purchased was from the reduced sections.
a great shop for the lowest possible spend. i am having to lower my food budget even more as from this week as ive lost my carers so ill be trying even harder to make the most of everything i have. we have all got this we will get through these hard times❤
I try to buy everything I can when it is buy one/get one. Also, we eat some strange combinations for lunch sometimes because we refuse to throw out any food. Saves a lot of $.
@@frugallizzybeeno, there’s scarcity with avian influenza!! It’s going around again and my daughter paid over $6 a dozen this week at a normal grocery store, not anything upscale.
I've been subbed to you about six months, and the prices are much higher now than they were then. I made many changes in 2024 to be frugal and I was very impressed with how much less the UK paid for vegetables compared to the US. They are not dramatically lower now. I'm sad for that. I ate more vegetables in 2024 than at any other time in my life. Vegetables are cheap. Only now they are not so cheap. It's as though 'they' watch to see how we are surviving and then they charge more, tax it more, regulate it more, or outlaw it altogether. Sheesh.

We will get through this 💕
Nice food shop and some great meal ideas Ty x
Thank you 💕
I love watching groceries ❤❤❤❤. And I love the random smurf in your kitchen.
😂😂 I think my son got him in a happy meal 💕

I love eating strange combinations too, sometimes they taste better than refusal combinations 😁💕
Nice shop! I, too, like my bananas on the firm side 😊 Cauliflower here last week $3.99 each and eggs $5.00 a dozen...didn’t buy either! . Susan
Oh my goodness, I don't blame you. Did they have gold in them or something 😂💕

I am interested in the fingerless gloves you knit with the different colours in the wool. Will you be putting any on Etsy? ❤
If I have any wool left over I will 💕
Many thanks ❤

I know, I remember all the cheap cut of meat you could get. Now they are sky high because apparently chefs made them popular to cook with 💕

You're a great shopper!!
Thank you 💕
So you make enough money to buy a house from just cleaning homes and motels?
Please pay attention; she’s renting.
People voicing these sorts of assumptions out of ignorance is precisely why the internet is such a toxic place…
I wish I could afford to buy, unfortunately I'm renting. But I do know people who clean that have bought their own homes, it can be very good money 💕
