I keep a pretty full tool kit in my old GL1200. My riding buddy doesn't carry any tools. I fixed two bikes on one ride. I'm working on the tool kit for my ADV bike
Excellent video. Really well made. I am so impressed with Lone Rider products. My 1250GSA is starting to look like an advert for Lone Rider. I just received the rest of my Black Friday stuff a week or so ago so another video coming up. I cant wait for the green light to travel & actually use my overlander bags & my mototent. I like the crash bar bags. I would like some, but if I leave my bike I'd be worried about them getting stolen.
Hi, I have a question in regards to the additional lights and headlights protection. Since the bike is registered in CH did you have any issues with Polizei or Straßenverkehrsamt? Reason why I am asking is because I would like to as well get some D7 installed on my on GSA. Greetings Tomasz
Bought a Lone Rider Riding Jacket and Gloves here in chandigarh India...... The Gloves are just great and so is the Jacket except for the fact that it seems shredding at seams
Tool Roll showed rust on various pieces. Was this from exposure during use, or from water intrusion as you rode? Just curious if I should pre-coat them with some light oil. Cheers
I have 2 x 1250GSAs (1 in UK and 1 in Australia) both for Long Distance International Touring and both fully outfitted with Lone Rider gear as I can't find anything better ! (Nor better Service - Thanks Anna) Curious however that you choose an overlander bag over Motobags for a day ride. I almost always keep my Motobags on the bike as a little extra protection for the bike, and it keeps weight lower down and nearer the centre of the Bike. Motobags also lock more securely to the Bike than an Overlander where I just have to use a SteelCore Security Lock. Any comment on this?
Nice stuff ! Viking on on a bike? Ok now I understand the complete black color regime?! As a Viking you don’t want to be seen, stealth look . So the remark at the end of the video is somewhat ironic, drive safely? My R1250GS HP is a beautiful red white blue and gold.
Adapt your kit, I am sure that on the market you can find kits for tube wheels. The general idea is to have with you things that can easily help you to overcome an unexpected situation and to reach your destination safe and to enjoy the ride. Safety is the number one priority, peace!
Personally I dont camp with my GS due to health reasons and I don't carry luggage, but I really dig your style brother. Nice video thanks for putting up! Take care from Arizona!
@@NomadHorizon My point is this is an advert for one manufacture's equipment. Yes most of the stuff is usefull, I wouldn't say they are a 'need' but you can purchase similar products else where and in many cases cheaper for just as good a quality.
Great video , great products, but very limited inventory. And the prices - only for the elite. V-Strom and Super Tenere owners - go somewhere else 🤣 🤣🤣
Dude, Are you came from elite forces??? Coz your tips is not just for motorcycle, its an idea of survival ,and the whole damn good things is all black including the gs.
While the idea in general is good, you do not need all that. Tool kit could easily be halved in bulk and weight to fit under most saddles. Simply because if you need to crack open your engine, likely you are not going anywhere afterwards. And unless you are in a Sahara desert, a tow truck is the way to go. Extra gloves? Nope - bulky and useless most of the time. Just get some large, stretchy knit workgloves and wear them either on top, or underneath. You can also do maintenance in them. Saves weight and a lot of space. Separate luggage straps? Just bring a roll of nylon string. A net is probably enough in most cases anyway. Basically, there are ways to reduce all this to stuff you might need only 95% of the times and probably halve weight and bulk.
Holy- damn this video quality is amazing. Starting from the color grading all the way to the audio. It's amazing
Agreed totally!
A Viking on a motor bike...Now thats something you dont see every day...
Viking doing Biking 😆
Lol
I wonder, could he be a marauding Norman?
The quality inthese videos are intense, great videos sir!
Glad you like them!

You never know when they may be needed, so it is better to have them on hand! .. Excellent suggestions !
Nice work Alex, and also, thank you for your very very clear and comprehensive articles on the basics of photography in the Lone Rider newsletter. 👍😉
Seems way over priced.
All black...this juz so amazing.
And beautiful❣️
I like your style brother. Nice video. That all black GS looks mean 😉
its also less visible to others. I would prefer something more brighter.

Thanks Alex. Some great ideas there!
absolute fantastic video Alex thanks
I should first get a motorcycle like yours and then all the tools that you have showed. Nice video.. Just love your motorcycle man...
Awesome friend !
Well thought out, good info
Well done Alex 🤙🏻 great video, great lone Rider stuff 🧳 . like the cinematic sequences, nice speed rampings very dynamic 🎥😉🤙🏻
If you use a folding map. Just a suggestion. Get a headlamp that has a red light light mode on it. It makes reading the map way easier at night time.
GS my dream 😍😍😍
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing!
Greetings from the Philippines ✌️
Your content is awesome
Fantastic video, great gear!
Beautiful bike and love the video! Keep the great videos coming...
Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful bike. What year and model is it exactly. Want something similar . Looks amazing.
Sure does rain a lot ;-)
Cool tips and bags though! Video quality is tops.

I would also like to know what you bring along when you go bike camping!!

Thank you
Excellente vidéo anti covid. Merci
Snyggt jobbad film Alex 😁.
Hey Alex, the video turned out great. The motobags are absolutely great. Regards Marzl
Modern day Mad Max, love it! What you DIDN’T show were your secret weapons inside that Klim jacket! Swerve Carefully, Brother, great vid!
Brilliant production quality!
I think I can put all these tools and accessories in a small backpack 😉
The most essential thing is the motorcycle itself😋😋
Wondering what might your home interior look like? Let me guess... black? :)

That must be another brand with the same name, we don't produce personal gear :)

Thanks! The brand is Airman.

Tire repair kit. Build this yourself of purchased?
Just Awsome ❤❤❤❤
I think it is overkill but still a good video and good advice! carry on boys :D
Until the next video!
beautiful
Hi Alex, could I get some pictures of your bike? I want to repaint mine.
Where can I get the gps holder and the black glass?
Awesome!
Maybe you should make a video for your GS!

Perfect!
All the kits I get with the bags?
Good
Equipment check. Now, next stop Eiscafe🍦🍧
hey I need the 31 letle side cases, please
Have all these in the frunk of my nc700x ! 😋
Yup! Nothing else like it.
What brand is the engine guard and skid plate
Just wondering how you would repair a flat tire with a tube on the roadside? I see your bike has spoked wheels which indicate it has a tube.
Adapt your kit, I am sure that on the market you can find kits for tube wheels. The general idea is to have with you things that can easily help you to overcome an unexpected situation and to reach your destination safe and to enjoy the ride. Safety is the number one priority, peace!
The GS has no need of Tubes as the spokes are attached at the outer part of the wheel and so outside of the pressure area.
One big infomercial
Awesome
I think I'll just have an overloaded RevZilla RV follow behind me on my excursions.
Personally I dont camp with my GS due to health reasons and I don't carry luggage, but I really dig your style brother. Nice video thanks for putting up!
Take care from Arizona!
Nice video, but don't forget to also bring Ducktape with you 😄
Question: how are you travelling with your tripod? Any tips?
I secure it underneath the "Beaver tail" of the Overlander bag. Quick and easy access!

Great suggestion, shame it's basically an advert for Lone Rider!
Why is that a shame? It's honestly all stuff that you would need anyways, so why not it be the stuff that they make and sell?
@@NomadHorizon My point is this is an advert for one manufacture's equipment. Yes most of the stuff is usefull, I wouldn't say they are a 'need' but you can purchase similar products else where and in many cases cheaper for just as good a quality.

Can these fit on an Africa Twin XRV 750 (1998)?
All bags in this video have a universal fit 👍
You should improve the visibility inside the bags with a colour different to black, e.g. white, yellow, blue .... That would be a huge improvement.
The inside lining of our bags is red, only the folding part is black inside ;-)

I guess when you ride a GS a $300 duffel bag doesn't seem that crazy.... Sleipnir approved?
Carry rain gear... Everyday. $1500 Goretex jackets are for suckers. I've owned several. Never again.
Wow
You look like skalgrim's biker brother 😁
do you deliver in cyprus?
Of course!
Respect +++++❤️
Knife name please ?
In Indonesia??
Alex looks very similar to skallagrim

When you need to braid your goatee, you know it’s too long.
Infomercial.
While the idea in general is good, you do not need all that. Tool kit could easily be halved in bulk and weight to fit under most saddles. Wrong tires on the bike
Please mention in the title this is an advert
O
Great commercial 😋
👏👏👏👍🤘🫡
no bungies. ever. there is nothing you cant carry on a bike with friction straps.

Good video, but there is an awful lot of rust on your tools... That's not a very good selling point..
Do you really need all the dramatic music ?
Unfortunately, nothing really necessary and in a way over-suggesting...but good promotions:) Nevertheless, drive safe and all the best.
all good, but cmon, stock your products on your advertising site, this is just hilarious
I’d say that the first adventure ride should be to a decent barber for a no1 and shave.
