IT - Per l'industria conciaria, la depurazione delle acque è un aspetto fondamentale e Conceria Volpiana ne è ben consapevole; da sempre, infatti, l'azienda conferisce le acque reflue ad un depuratore per il trattamento. Non solo l'acqua è un bene prezioso per questa conceria, ma anche l'uso efficiente delle risorse energetiche e il rispetto per l'ambiente. Per questo motivo Conceria Volpiana si è dotata di un impianto di cogenerazione da 635 kW che produce energia elettrica impiegata nelle operazioni meccaniche ed energia termica usata per il lavaggio e asciugaggio delle pelli. Anche grazie all'installazione del cogeneratore, Conceria Volpiana è riuscita ad ottenere la medaglia d'oro nella certificazione "Leather Working Group" che premia gli imprenditori che hanno a cuore la protezione dell'ambiente.

For the tanning industry, water purification plays a key role and Conceria Volpiana is well aware of this. In fact, the company has always sent its waste water to a purifier for treatment. Water is a valuable asset for this tannery, just as the efficient use of energy resources and respect for the environment also are. For this reason, Conceria Volpiana has equipped itself with a 635 kW cogeneration plant that produces electricity used in the tannery’s mechanical operations, as well as thermal energy used for washing and drying the hides. The installation of the cogenerator contributed to allowing Conceria Volpiana to obtain the gold medal in the “Leather Working Group”, certification that rewards entrepreneurs committed to environmental protection.
