The only i like about SONY they keep it original and SD Card slot. I wish i have Sony but I'm not photographer but i love taking photos and videos with my s23 Ultra. I love this video, keep it up 😃

Your IPhone 15 photo review was absolutely fantastic.
But the xperia is like taking kinda dull and gloomy photos and also now I'm thinking about the xperia 1V was better😂
Oh and also you forgot to take the telephoto macro shots.

@@StevenDivish The previous models had separate specialized camera apps that did what they were intended for very well. I don't like how they basically killed videography on this model at least before they add it with the expected update.

I use Mac and prefer iOS but prefer Xperia 1 VI more natural look camera quality, do you think that 2X tele macro, no hole screen, fingernail level of removable SIM and microSD card tray and headphone jack is worth to switch? It seem like there isn't much variation in macro photography and if I want to explore macro world for education purposes, I can just google it, hence no need to consider it on the camera departments?

Steven I have an important question.
iPhone 12 - I used Lr camera and edited DNG photos there. When I bring highlights down for white car for example then it looked still white but less shiny (for logical reasons)
I sold 12 and bought 15 Pro Max - I used ProRAW and imported photos to Lr. When I brought highlights down then the car turned from white to gray. It’s for most of my photos I I took. Even other colors turn into gray metallic colors.
Is that normal? One photographer said it is. Someone recommended me select the car and bring exposure or highlights up. I don’t think it works.
What is the solution? By the way o took and edited 3000 photos by Lr camera and never had that problem. I also used -0,3 exposure before take a photo but it doesn’t work good too
You have a good skill.
I suggest you try out the VIVO X100 Ultra, it has the best camera hardware ever put into a phone, and that ZEISS T-star coating is amazing.
Steven, could you review about the new Blackmagic Camera App for Android? And how it fares with respect to the Pro Video modes of the Android phones?

I went from Xperia 1 IV to Xiaomi 14 Ultra, mainly due to your review of that phone compared to Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra & another video comparison of Xiaomi 14 Ultra vs. Xperia 1 VI. My main takeaway is the lens & sensor quality on Xperia 1 lineup is not good, especially for the price. The software is fine, nothing amazing. Sony's color science is okay as well.
Yeah the 14 Ultra has probably the best camera for photography out of all the phones I've tried so far
I love the review, thanks for sharing. I think the telephoto doesnt look that compelling. Could you please buy and review the Vivo X100 Ultra please. Thats a true flagship for Zoom and optical camera quality!

Any good cases for this phone? I was thinking of getting a custom Devil case for this but idk if I should go for a black case or green to match the phone
Im not so sure, I think Sony made a pretty good case for it with a stand
what shutterspeed did you use for your pov? The video isnt 60fps but its also not stuttery like 24 or 30fps usually is
It’s 30 fps I think. I film either 24 or 30 on this channel for most of the shots, except for when I need slow motion then I would opt for 60fps
Some videos tested 60fps stabilizer improved greatly. @@StevenDivish

@@romualdasmarkauskas I used Lightroom, I have a separate tutorial on how to edit photos from phones, it’s in my Samsung Galaxy series. You can use this info for pretty much any phone out there:

too bad they still didn't fix the proximity sensor issue. phone's screen still activates in pocket, even with prevent accidental operations on.
Did you know... you can install Google Camera (GCAM) on all Android phones? Maybe that'd solve the over exposure in images since it's using Google's AI to process the images.

i wonder how this 'optical' zoom will fair against xiaomi 120mm prime...
yeah the zoom especially on the longer end looks super blurry, I do not get it...
@@StevenDivish its because it's a zoom lense, which usually have worse sharpness than primes, the lenses are plastic too,(normal for phone zoom lenses but others use better plastic or glass+plastic)
Most importantly, the sensor is tiny, thus worse details, noise etc
@@StevenDivish if sony wants to implement a proper optical zoom lens, they can, just that the phone will have much bigger camera bump than even the Xiaomi, they'd need a main camera grade sensor like 1/1.5 inch AND use majority glass+ some plastic element lense if not fully glass.
Please leave the pics to look at standing longer… it’s disturbing to stop and adjust the position of the video every time.

bought that phone and the photos are worse than from my nearly 4 years old s20 fe. even the zoom up until 20x is better on the s20fe. The xperia 1vi is an hilarious fail. I returned it today with no second thought. Gonna keep that phone at least for 3 more years.
Yeah I don’t know what’s happening with the telephoto lens…I guess you also faced the problem with the photos being too soft? the main camera is good though. Either way I’ll cover all that in detail in the next full review🎥🫡
@@StevenDivish 3.5x is sharp but higher gets softer. Looks like digital zoom amd not losless optical. Also, the 3x zoom of my s20fe is so big like the 5x on the xperia. Something is way off with sonys tele lens. Photos with normal lense look washed out compared to my s20fe. i like the more vivid colors better that the "natural" look of the xperia.
