    Wow bro !! Thanks for the shout out ! I’m glad you tried the rig , it’s a deadly rig , once you dial everything down it will catch monster halibut out deep , I always put my hoochie 15” back from the dodger and I go 2.5 to 3 knots , great job you killed it on your first time using it

      those speeds are too hot for herring dodger 2.5kt + will make it spin, not the intended action.

    Hey Chris love your videos, I fish the bay as well in my campion cuddy cabin. What app do you use to know when it's gonna be a calm day. I love the glass water fishing. Keep up the good fishing

    I went out last weekend. Got limits of lingcod & 1 shy of limiting on halibut’s. I also caught a salmon. It’s was nice to see but I had to release the salmon. I bet you’re were excited to see it! 😂

    Hey Chris P. I’m in the market for a new boat and have quite a few questions on different configurations. Thought it might be a good idea and view worthy to include a brief description of the boats that you fish out of and maybe a few things that the owners like/dislike about their layout. Great content brotha, tight lines!

    Will you now try this hoochie technique in trollable waters inside the bay? Maybe compare with trolling anchovies or herring? That one costly net job merits a “no comment.”😎

    Yooo awesome haul.. wanna get a great dodger?? Dodger works great and an old man showed me when he first taught me how to fish. I gotta have 2 or 3 in my tackle box they work so great and hard to find. works for trout, salmon, and hali... luhr jensen stamped chrome. No stickers, it gives better detail.

    Tiny net

    • @ChrisPfish2
      @ChrisPfish2  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dont worry I let Kevin know his net was too small!! That was for trout. Its one of the rubber ones, intended for the smaller ones but its a little small for borderline ones.

  • @erikv4899
    @erikv4899 ปีที่แล้ว

    You are incorrect. If you snag a halibut, rockfish, or lingcod in saltwater (bay, or ocean) you can keep it. Not sure of striper
