In this video, Taiyo Feed Mill Pvt Ltd chairman Mr. Prabakar and his wife Pramila share their success story and they being an inspiration for many entrepreneurs and they share their obstacles when the start-up of the company lets see what's the business secrets.
Prabakar is 40 years old and a first-generation entrepreneur, who converted his hobby of maintaining ornamental fishes into a thriving business over the last 10 years.
An aquarium at home grew into a 100 sq.ft. shop for selling ornamental fish. This then got transformed into a business of making and selling pet feed. His wife Premila Lakshmi, a commerce graduate, looks after the business when he is away.
Pet lovers were dependent on imported feed which was costly, the quality was uncertain and accessories and decorations for the aquarium had to be imported so they started this company.
Formed in the year 1996 as a private limited company, Taiyo Pet Products Pvt. Ltd has established itself as a leading name in the industry engaged in importing, supplying, and wholesaling of Aquarium Fish, Pet Dogs, Pet Cats, Pet Hamsters, and Pet Birds. In addition to this, we also engaged in the manufacturing, supplying, importing, distributing, and wholesaling of Pet Foods, Pet Cages, Pet Accessories, Fish Tanks, Aquarium Filters, Aquarium Accessories and Aquarium Flakes. We have grown as a company supplying high-quality products at market competitive prices.
