...... in for a service after a year ! ....... wow ...... I'd be pissed off given all hype about how accurate and reliable and durable these watches are ..........
Do noted that the only issue was running 1 to 2 seconds slower from chronometer spec, about 5 to 6 secs slow(yes, Im that type of guy). But Rolex service centre took it in, gave it a full service and even gave it a total clean in the ultrasonic cleaner. All within a month. I'm pretty happy with the service despite the negative comments I've been hearing out there.
In my experience with cleaning an old sterling silver bowl I found a cleaning cloth with ether a bit of water or air tool oil on the cloth takes alot of the tarnish out
Tarnishing is not a myth. I’ve had three since it came out. First one was replaced by Tudor as movement was defective. The replacement Watch they sent me was damaged on bezel and was replaced again by Tudor. The third time was a charm. Been wearing that one for months now. All 3 of the 925’s I owned tarnish. It doesn’t get bad if you keep wearing the watch, but if you put it away in box for a month, you find tons of tarnish all over the case. Thankfully rubbing it with cotton cloth will remove virtually all of it. Only some dark areas will remain around bezel.
Wow, what an eventful journey, thankfully they solved the problem. Totally agree with you on the tarnish, I find the same happening to mine too, but easily reversible with cotton cloth, silver cleaning cloth or soft tooth brush with non abrasive tooth paste for the hard to reach areas like around the bezel.
@@EDHBlvd Aww sweet! That was you haha, happy to see the turn of events dude, I saw your video in the drinkin coffee Facebook group. Was quite a hot topic of discussion that tieme. just saw your follow up vid, glad to hear it caught Tudor's attention and the issue was solved with extra goodies from them. 👍 Enjoy it in good health. Its a great watch!
Hi, I have some newbie questions. How do you detect or check a seconds or two slower ? What tools u use to measure it ? To me I won't really realise for a couple of seconds. Besides, did you pay for the services at RSC ? If yes, what's the damaged ? Thanks..
Hello there, nothing newbie Bout this question mate, I used an app called 'Watch accuracy meter' it's free from Google play store. But there are other out there using specialised tools like the wei shi timegrapher. Service was 100% foc as the watch was still under warranty. Superb service I must add from the RSC here in Malaysia.
you can also take a picture of the watch side by side with an atomic clock online on your pc screen (or any accurate watch, say a quartz watch) wait 24h then take another picture with an accurate clock, check the discrepancy between your watch and the atomic clock from day 0 and day 1 and see how many second it runs fast or slow
I have one of these and bought mine like you at the launch period of this model. I live in France and find that the tarnishing is a bit of a myth to be honest. The watch is lovely but one must be careful of it because silver is a soft metal and so it will dent or scratch. So far mine has not had these issues but if you see my video on it you will see that mine too had a problem which required a factory repair. All done quickly and efficiently but with the bonus off getting a Rolex box and pouch as a gift. Love this watch and wear it almost every day.
Nice! I guess all manufacturers will have a few duds here and there, what's important is how it was handled, but I gotta say my issue with the watch was more self inflicted 😉 The tarnishing should be quite subjectively to the wearer and weather conditions, for people in tropical climate, the tarnishing should be more drastic compared to dry temperate ones. But still nothing too drastic like bronze, just very minimal tarnishing.
Hi bro, I really like your Horween leather strap and been searching all over the internet but can't find it. Would you mind to share which brand of Horween leather strap you bought from ? Thanks ! 🙏
Oh yes, the spring bars from Tudor are really tight, I just used a normal spring bar tool and tape the the lugs to prevent scratches. It's was not easy though, I would recommend going to the AD and asking them to remove it. They do a much better job lol.(the one in my country does)
first of all thanks for the update. I am currently on the waiting list for the 925. would you consider it a good watch for everyday wear? I really love the looks of the watch but I am worried about getting it scratched.
You are most welcome!! And congratulations in advance!! Well it depends on your daily routine and activities i guess, cause this is a real scratch magnet 😅 as you can see from the video this has a fair amount of scratch on it and I am fairly careful with my watches, my daily routine mostly consist of desk diving in the office. I personally prefer to wear this as more of a special occasion piece(i wear it once a week on rotation) and use my Breitling Superocean as a daily. Hope this helps!
@@Boz999s whoahh, sharp eyes there mate! Yes, I knocked it against my teak wood table hard, thats how soft silver is or rather how hard teak wood is lol . . . no biggie, got over it after a month of crying and binging on ice cream.
@@IsaacCheck it’s really a sad time when you mark a watch for the first time. Thankfully after the first time you damage, subsequent damage hurts less. 😂

Yes Tudor has some QC issues with their Kenissi movements. They really need to get some control over it.

Thank you so much!
Beautiful watch, i do like the 925 and i sure would like to purchase one 👍 ⌚

@@IsaacCheck ya I posted a video about it earlier this year. Tudor saw the video and reached out to me. That is what got me a 3rd replacement.

@@IsaacCheck ya thankfully the last two Tudors I bought (BB58 bronze, and BB bronze slate grey) both have been flawless.
Thanks for this! I’ve been thinking about this one. Still beautiful though.
Thanks! Its not everyone's cup of tea, but this one's a real winner for me!

Hey man, thanks!! I got it from AliExpress. Ftom The hemsut official store. But this a year ago. Not sure if they still sell it though.
Got it ! Thanks man ! 👍
cool review, just wondering where is the leather strap come from? it looks good
Thanks! I got it from Aliexpress:) it's Horween leather strap . can't remember the seller's name, but there are a few selling it there
What about the inside like the dial and the surrounding wall, does it gets tarnished too?
Nope, so far those parts stay shiny, the dial is not dial is not silver so no worries there

hi, I noticed that yours come with quick release strap. Are they original from Tudor? I don't think this is available from Tudor Malaysia.
Hello there, nope, I'm using aftermarket horween leather strap. The original strap does not come with quick release.

Too much polishing will remove the brush look.
yea, gotta be careful with the polish.

I have some advise for Tudor owners on tarnish problems spend a little more and get a real watch OMEGA.
