My pc keeps saying it can't system restore at any date l try it tries to but when it boots back up it says it's been unable to it used to work, l also have a box that pops up when I try to play my games l download which I have used for 4 years without a proper its says failed directx setup, av download new directx and troubleshooted directx but it says everything is fine can you give me some advice plz x

well I need my windows XP so I had to reinstall it (formatting) but now nothing works, I can't connect to the internet, I can't have the right resolution for my screen (the biggest one they offer is 1600 x 1054 and my screen is 1920 x 1800 but it's not there and I don't know how to change it.... the new screen came with a CD but on it there is only a PDF on how to care for it no driver.... can'T plug to the internet so no way to update drivers. now I'm lost!!!!!

If you trying to do a system restoration you can use a alternative such as cmd, just run it as admin and type sfc /scannow If that dosent work reply back to me
After i press restore system....there write“you dont have sufficient security privilegers to restore your system.please contact your adminstor,or logout and log in again as an administrator amd try again

START -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore
At the System Restore Window choose:
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"
