Easy to haul. Sadly, they went away from a 3rd axle, which gave it better weight loading spread across 3 axles versus 2 and also allows the vehicle to track better behind the tow vehicle.
Wow, I am glad that I am not onlyb one that thought that when I saw they were still using that stair, and by the way, it is not always that smooth to operate either!!!!!!!!!
Raised in trailers I can tell you right off the bat. You do not want a travel trailer with a bedroom in the front. You will hear everything while sleeping sense the hitch faces the road. Your beautiful eating area in the rear will give you a nice view of a fence or the rear of some other Rav or your shared electrical pole. Or the sewage. Don't do it.
@@elephantintheroom5678 I was born in MT 1972. The price of everything these days is ridiculous. The cost for property in MT is out of control. Airstreams are nice…. but a quarter million for a camper trailer? 😳 A Prevost motor coach will set you back 2.5 million $. Crazy.
Patrick, Wonderful video covering every nook & cranny of this trailer. Just seems as though the vehicle doesn’t have enough payload once you figure in holding tank weights. Have had a few Airstreams, the most recent being a new International 25 FB. For myself, the exterior is simply too difficult to keep up. Otherwise, they’re beautiful trailers. Many thanks 🙏
Great trailer. Only thing it needs is a 3"lift. Would still be plenty low, but that back bumper would spend a little less time knocking on the ground. Buy this, run it for 15 years, and you will still have an amazing resale value. I currently tow a Cougar, which I am very impressed with to this point, but I am not the least bit confident that it will even live 15 years. Right now I am hoping for 5, and also hoping it surprises me....I must say still in excellent shape after 3 years, more than 25,000 miles and getting close to 300 nights.
Must admit the height of the seating is too low, can't lean your head back. It needs to be higher. Otherwise no support for you head neck. Otherwise love this RV.
Great video and told me a lot of stuff about a dream camper. Perhaps I was reading the window sticker incorrectly (it was a reversed mirror image) but that price didn't jibe with your spoken price.
The salesman is great. If I were a RV manufacturer, I would be tickled at this Airstream. The designers dropped the ball on this monster of a fifth wheel. No doubt there are RV's that utilized the space better. I shudder to think of all the accidents that are going to happen once this model is hauling down the road and in tight spaces.
I like this Floor plan best (It's like a giant 23 FB), but I hate the sofa and entertainment area. For me personally, it's an absolute total waste of space. I wish that Airstrain Offered the same floor plan with a bunk where the sofa is and a washer/dryer and freezer in the entertainment/office space. At the very least, Offer a 33FB model with sofa and entertainment/office deleted.. So customers can have this area refitted to their liking by an outside company. In a camping trailer, the dinette serves As a sitting/Entertaining area. I am sure that the sofa is a popular option with Many buyers, but It should not be the only option. The trailer could be way more functional without it.
