They thought of everything! I want one. It's me and my kid so we need two sleep areas but I wouldn't want anything too huge. This one is a reasonable price too. Excellent video, the best. Couldn't see the kitchen sink but it looks to be a decent size.
Interesting that Airstream went with the cheap window blinds, that was unexpected. No big deal I know 😊. That Airstream has good designers is clearly evident. Looks great!
I would not consider them cheap, they are made quite well and are designed to be durable and take up the least amount of space in the coach.

great video. I like the comments of 5' 9" as if that is tall. One advantage of the van not mentioned is when you are not camping. It is a great hauler for going to the box store for long boards and plywood. But the price.... I expected some solid gold faucets and handles.

Nice layout. I had a sweet Eurovan Westfalia but this is obviously very complete and much bigger. Great size for long drives but couldn’t see commuting with it.

I love it! It does need a convection microwave and a Laveo toilet though.
No Propane is a new one for me. Some great design elements this Class B has compared to other similar models. Gotta stand out one way or another right? That wet bath is a huge win compared to other models I've seen. Good review.

We own an airstream trailer and love it, but when are they going to upgrade the parts in their product line. That shower and sink combo is just cheap. Such a beautiful product then they choose 3D party parts that are 3D rate and also not reliable…
I appreciate your opinion. In my 20+ career in the RV business, I am not aware of an RV manufacturer that designs and manufacturers their own sinks and faucets. They all rely on 3rd party manufacturing that specialize in that craft to build their production.
I just wish the dodge vans front ends looked better ugh / that huge slant and window ugh / copy the old ford vans I’d be sold
Beautiful camper van, but the height of the pop top sleeping area is too small. They could have easily made it 6-9 inches taller and less cramped.
Also, the storage under the dinette seat should open via a drawer to the aisle (vs. crawling under the table).

Appreciate the feedback. Airstream doesn't manufacture the pop top, it is installed by Airstream. I believe it will fit two adults comfortably and feedback from owners has been positive.

Why not sleep on an atomic bomb🚀 my cousin said at the campgrounds somebody had one exactly like that the guy's wife woke up she smelled something burning and then started seeing smoke one of the other campers said I woke up to noises and saw flames luckily they got out in time before it turned into a Towering Inferno..And then another guy had one he paid $60,000 for it after a couple years they said we need to replace your battery the cost will be $62,321 dollars keep being GREEN..🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There is limited room under the RAM chassis and payload.
@@colonialairstream I wouldn’t feel comfortable driving to remote places like Cape Breton or Newfoundland without a spare. Other than that it looks like a brilliant rig. I like the Ram chassis, I like the gasoline engine with a gas generator plus the solar with a good inverter. Great video.
270 AH battery. That's crap . You can eun your AC for 3 hours, then you have an engine to run ac and charge battery. Coachmen is the best

Nope. I've been on the fence between building out my own or buying new. I procrastinate hoping the next version will be close enough to what i want but it just doesn't happen. @@colonialairstream I have seen a couple custom jobs, and some european models that have nicely squeezed in a separate shower plus an outdoor option. Priorities! HaHa

When will Airstream ever wake up to the 21st century and go cassette. Blank tank is so archaic, not to mention a pain in the a$$ when you're stuck waiting in line at parks like Yosemite for the bt dump. Airstream continues to ignore best practices from Euro.

Terrible design. Toilet in the mid-area again. Smells the entire place. Toilets should be at the far rear end of the vehicle so ventilation exhaust is faster. More hygienic. You can entry at the rear when clothes are dirty and take a shower before entering the van. You can even extend the shower if it's at the rear. Midsection showers are terrible.
I guess you gotta be super wealthy, or foolish to drop $162k on a sleeper van. I don’t care how nice it is, that’s a huge chunk of change!
Underpowered for all that weight.
Stapled drawers, no dovetail...very cheap contruction. For $150.000+ I would expect 600 ah for lithium batteries also. I bought my 2019 Coachmen Crossfit for $76,000 brand new and it has more options than this one does with solid wood dovetail drawers.

The BC needs a faucet in the bathroom.
The "BC" may be what you are describing to be the Basecamp? The Basecamp has a shower faucet in the bathroom with both hot and cold water.
@@colonialairstream ya we have the 20X and we realized that a sink in the bathroom would be great because when were cooking we realized we need to move stuff over and pause the cooking prep to wash our hands. Course we are a family of 4.5 (.5 being a baby).

How the heck, it's got everything possible. It's a work of art. I could no way afford this but appreciate the excellent layout and design.
The location of the Amp connection and waste gate was an awful engineering choice. You're asking for a lot of trouble with how low they hang.

@colonialairstream I honestly don't know where to begin the bed up top in my opinion is a complete joke. Even with the bed being up above this van still managed to seem very cramped I would feel claustrophobic. Everything seems chintzy weather is the doors the windows the paneling the accessories like the exhaust fans and whatnot they all just look low quality these Vans need to be tall enough for a person that is at least 6 ft 4 to stand up in comfortably. All in all I don't like the Aesthetics I don't see anything Innovative and it is overpriced for what it is

What's your local power grid running on? What do you know about the environmental impact of mining to make these batteries, or how about their disposal?
There's a bunch of stupid people putting the cart before the horse, we are not yet ready for electric vehicles. First let's get the power grids converted so that when you plug your electric vehicles in you're not burning coal. I guess that makes too much sense though huh? Let's make sure that all residences have charging units, because we've been seeing news stories from coast to coast about people unable to charge their vehicles because they live in condos or apartments. Not to mention the people who live in northern climates whose car is totally froze up and became useless when it became too cold outside.
It is too early for this technology to be implemented on a wide scale. Are you against everybody's power grids being converted to Green energy first?
