I think the issue with Rag Lich is that his second phase would interfere with alt path doors. I guess it would depend on when he was intended to show up, but he seems easy enough to be a Caves or Mines boss to me.
Clickity-clacks' designs are actually based on strafers, as strafers were in Antibirth as a Masoleum enemy while clickity-clacks didn't even exist at the time. Strafers would only move alone one tile row/column and try to line themselves up with you before firing off a barrage of bullets.
I do believe Blank Bombs to be an extremely direct refrence to Enter The Gungeon, which has items called "Blanks" that destroy all onscreen bullets instantly, and are a regular pickup, like bombs in Isaac.
given the graverobber's name and appearance, i'd guess it'd have something to do with the shopkeeper dudes. maybe he would've been seen taking the nickels from the nickeleyes?
I believe that many items from Antibirth were removed from Repentance because they were a bit unbalanced and the devs didn't have a good idea of how to balance them.
If they're 100% done with updates I really hope they release an unofficial patch or mod with some of these eventually, it's sad seeing interesting, almost fully realized content completely unused.

Maybe with Dogma they figured the black holes were too cumbersome or something and didn’t fit well. Granted Dogma doesn’t have many attacks anyways

Maid in The Mist is such a neat idea, and I caved at some point and got a mod that makes her playable, fun stuff
