    Excellent video. I've never thought about putting a little hole in the bearing seal to be able to squirt the grease in with a needle that's a great idea

    I always thought you had to take the tire off to do this. Thank you for showing that it can be done with the tire in place.

    Very helpful, my Africa Twin front wheel has the out of round problem. Very subtle but has eventually worn out a couple of tires prematurely. At 25-30 mph on pavement I can really feel it. Your wheel bearing grease tricks are a bonus, thank you !

    Thank you sir for your expertise. This will come in handy when I check the wheels on my 18 speedmaster. The spoke tool tuning test is excellent. Appreciate you. Randy Hanlon, Altoona Ia.

    Did you deflate the tire first? I have the same issue with an out of round wheel. Thinking about trying it my self.

      Good to hear from you sir, yes you will want to deflate the tire before attempting this.... thanks for watching and good luck with your project... :)

    Great video very informative. I have a 2018 XCA with a slight front end wobble at 40-60 mph, have you noticed that on yours ?

      Hello David, I have not noticed any issues with the front end on my bike. It seems to be pretty well planted at any speed. You might want to check the balance on that front wheel and make sure the tire is running true.... thanks for the comments sir... happy holidays... :)

    That's surprising that the wheel doesn't run true as your bike is almost new. Looks like something else we need to check. Could it be done with the wheel on the bike?

      It probably has to do with break in and seating of the parts.

    Good video, what kind of spoke wrench is worth my money?

    • @ozarksbackroads5484
      @ozarksbackroads5484  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tim, I have a set from DRC Products that I bought several years back that have 8 different sized bits. You will probably want a good assortment of sizes as a 6MM spoke will likely need a 6.2mm wrench due to the thickness of the chrome plating. I don not know that any brand is any better than another, I would not spend very much on a set as you probably wont use them very often. My set has fit everything I have ran across in the last 5 or 6 years. Thanks for the comments sir and have a great Holiday Season.... :)

    How's the new FJR windshield treating you on the Tiger? I was curious on how that worked out.

    This is what I call, over maintenance. It's makes more damage then good. The plastic seal prevant from the grease to run away from the bearing. The proof is that you could see the grease when he took the cover. The hole he drilled allowed the grease to escape and allowed dirt to enter. I wouldn't do that.
