Never worked on a bike a day in my life, but this is the 3rd video of yours where I watch you install and service your Suzuki 650. I'm currently saving to get myself one! Really great videos you have here, and I've watched a lot!
Where can i find ACC for my Navi? Thanks
Good to hear from you sir, The only switched power on the bike is the 12 volt power port or the USB outlets on the dash of the bike. You could install a micro relay powered by the battery and switched on by tapping into the tail light wire for a switched power source for your GPS... good luck and thanks for watching... :)
Hi Jon, looks like you're lucky with the local weather, enjoy your wet feet and take us on a new adventure through the ozarks soon. Sorry your phone dropped, shit happens 😉
Good to hear from you again sir... thanks for watching... :)
Nice adventure ride with the new bike John. Looks like your new bike got baptized for sure with those water crossing. Nice history and beautiful scenic route. Sorry about your phone. BTW, Old log cabins in the Ozark region often had long logs running from gable end to gable end because this construction method, known as "full-length logs," provided maximum structural integrity and stability, especially in areas with harsh weather conditions and limited access to large quantities of timber; essentially, using fewer, longer logs created a stronger framework for the cabin walls. Keep the vlog coming.
Great to hear from you sir, thanks for the info and thanks for watching... :)
Another great video, Jon. As you know, I love the water crossings and the drone footage. Great time to do this too, with all the water coming from the springs. Sorry about the sacrificial phone though. A reason to upgrade, I guess. Keep up the great work! I still want to try that Chinese in West Plains! : )
Hello there sir, Great to hear from you... Chen's Oriental Garden is waiting on you.... thanks for watching... :)
Nice & smooth! Be safe on your journey.
Thanks for watching sir... :)
Nice day out for it being February ! Would you say so far that the Transalp is an comfortable on the highway as the Ibex ? I would like to see you do an in depth install video when you do your cruise control if that would work out for you .
Great to hear from you sir, yes I would say the Transalp is as comfortable and the Ibex... they are both very nice bikes to travel on... Thanks for watching... :)
That was quite a ritual to set the abs off and traction. Good thing it didn't send a confirmation email also. Throw away that phone mount please. Ram has another model, the Quick Grip. Looks safer than this one.
Great to hear from you sir, I will have to check my email to see about the confirmation... I would not be surprised to get one... don't want to give Honda any ideas... thanks for watching... :)
@@ozarksbackroads5484 I'm itching to go for a ride but there are freezing temperatures where I live, it was warmer in January, like in your area. Only a few more weeks I hope...
Always enjoy riding along with ya. This channel without a doubt is one of my favorites. I'll be back down in that country late April.
Great to hear from you sir, hope to see you out there soon... thanks for watching... :)
I'd like to see how you set up the rugged phone for navigation. Do you run trail apps on it, or download gpx files?
Great to hear from you sir, I use a trail app called GPS Waypoints Manager on my phone. Any Android app will work the same as any Android phone... thanks for watching... :)
Whats in that cave that the guvment don't want us to find!? Boots full of water, and full hearts!
Thank you again, John.
Thanks for watching sir... :)
Just how windy is a sack of buttholes, exactly? 🤔
Beautiful day to be out seeing some more awesome Ozark scenery... I really like your new Honda. 👍
Thanks Doc... :)
What’s your opinion on transalp compared to ibex
Gonna put this date on the calendar. I’m a working man also so hopefully I can make it.
Great to hear from you sir, I hope to see you there... :)
Dang, you make really good videos!
Great to hear from you sir, Glad you like... thanks for watching... :)
Good job on the water crossing! I am proud of you!😂 get some water proof boots!😁
The Transalp knows no fear... it laughs in the face of certain death.... :)
I'm watching with a whole lot of envy, and substantial memory of rides taken and bikes come & gone. I crashed my Kawasaki 650 a couple of years ago, breaking my hips, pelvis, arm, along with various other injuries. I'm 80 now and figured, yeah, better not push my limits any longer. But one bike still stands out in my memory like a lost sweetheart. Enjoy your rides... just stay out of heavy fast moving traffic.
Great to hear from you sir, glad you survived to talk about it... thanks for watching... :)
Yet another great Ozark adventure thanks John.
The man with the Golden Handle... Thanks for watching again sir... :)
@ozarksbackroads5484 thanks for producing and sharing my friend
Isn't that life... you were just talking up the rugged phone and then this happens. Excited to get your thoughts on the new Honda as the videos develop. I think we would love to hear how and why you chose that bike considering you already had a middleweight bike in the CF Moto. Are you planning on keeping the Ibex, or is there another bike in the future?
Great to hear from you sir, The CFMOTO is really not as off road capable as the Transalp. It is a great touring bike but is limited by its 19 inch front tire and heavy weight. I will keep the Ibex for a while to get more miles on it and see how it holds up over time... thanks for watching.. :)
Beautiful
Thanks for watching sir... :)

Love the new bike 🏍️
Thanks for watching sir... :)
Great way of doing the bearings another top video with top notch detail 👍
Thanks for watching sir... :)
Your cool-headed demeanor renders the instruction interesting and effective. Having only recently acquired an ibex8 I was concerned about all the chatter on the ktm 790 cam issue. Your video presentation was super. I’m a fan.
Great to hear from you sir, thanks for watching.. :)
Thank you for this video it’s brilliant information 🙏🏻. But just wondering if they did need to be adjusted how would you do that? Thank you
Great to hear from you sir, If the valve lash needs to be changed then the shim under the bucket on top of the valve stem would have to be changed to an appropriate thickness shim. It is the same traditional shim under bucket design almost all motorcycle engines use these days... thanks for watching.... :)
Your going to love that bike!!! Honda all the way for me. They don't brake.
Great to hear from you again sir, Honda's set the bar for reliability for sure .... thanks for watching... :)
Nice bike looking forward to see where you will take us. Hope to see you in June where will you be staying at?
Hey there, good to hear from you. I will be staying at the Shady Lane Motel that weekend. I am looking forward to meeting you in person... thanks for watching... :)
Congrats on the new bike would sure like to do the meet and greet but I have the wrong bike lol but hey can’t wait to see your adventures on the new ride god bless and happy trails
Great to hear form you sir... thanks for watching.. :)
Pretty cool scooter congratulation, Looking forward to meeting with you this June sounds like a good time making and eating a little dust with everyone.
Great to hear from you sir, looking forward to meeting you... thanks for watching... :)
Hey Jon, I like the way you are outfitting your TA , I stopped a the dealer last week and sat on one , had a really nice feel I thought vs the Africa Twin that was right beside it , different bikes but I am thinking the Trans Alp may be a good replacement for my 650 vstrom adventurer although it would be hard for me to part with it too. Do you still have your Ibex 800 ?
Great to hear from you sir, Yes I still have the Ibex in the garage. I also had a Strom 650XT that was very hard to part with as well... Thanks for watching... :)
My Strom is outfitted similar to yours . Would it work for your meet and greet ? I have trailmax missions and like them but have been thinking a more aggressive like the eo7 plus
Great to hear from you sir, I also used to run the Missions on my V-Strom 650XT. Very good tires and long lasting... I think the Missions would be ok for Eminence. I rode my V-Strom with Mission tires all over the country over there and I am still alive.... Looking forward to meeting you... thanks for watching... :)
I watched your video, congratulations! I wanted to ask you for some advice: I noticed that you didn’t use any thread locker on the monoshock bolt. Do you recommend not using it, considering the high torque?
Very nice bike the Transalp is. Beautiful scenery riding in the Ozark backroads. It'll be Spring before you know it. Hope you enjoy the new ride. Thanks for sharing John and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Thanks Hank... :)
Nice new bike Jon, I think you've picked a winner. Just hate to see the old Triumph go. A fine video too, just a shame the ice turned you around. I'm sure cabin fever was getting the best of you, especially with the new bike in the garage begging to be ridden. Keep up the good work, see you in the next one!
Hey there Richard... not to worry, it is going to be 70 degrees here today... getting suited up right now to go out for the day.... thanks for watching... :)
How does the transalp compare to the ibex.
Great to hear from you sir, The Transalp is a lighter bike than the Ibex and is much easier to handle off road. On road the Transalp is pretty comparable to the Ibex in comfort and wind protection.... thanks for watching sir... :)
I’m hoping to make one of the days, I’d be riding in from Cassville, Mo. excited to ride new to me areas
I'm looking forward to seeing you there! Thanks for watching... :)

Thanks for sharing the new bike and the ride video.
thanks for watching sir... :)
Congratulations, nice bike! We definitely have to take advantage of the warmer days in January!
Great to hear from you again sir... yes January is a tough month for our sort. I will be out in it tomorrow as well... supposed to be 70 degrees.. thanks for watching... :)
Just put cruise on mine this last week. It works great. Also got motorcycle car play unit so my phones not on the bars. Highly recommend. Trans alp is a good touring bike for me, you can get on the big road and really fly if you need to.
Hello there sir, yes I use a Carpuride Android Auto device on my KLX300 and find it to be quite handy indeed... thanks for watching.. :)

Jon really nice new bike. I.m getting my ducks together to join you in June. Looking forward to meeting you in Person you have been a great mentor to riding in the woods.
Hey there Don. Great to hear you are coming along... looking forward to meeting you... see you soon... :)
This bike is absolutely stunning! I really regret selling my FJR.
Some of those low water slabs are like ice year round. I have been down in the water a few times because of them.
Me too, I dropped a brand new Yamaha FJR1300 on a low water bridge one time... really hurt my feelings... :)
Hey, I bought a Transalp in December. Rode it for the first time today. The Veridian Cruise Control kit I installed seems to work great! Enjoy the bike!
Great to hear from you sir, I will be adding my Cruise kit soon.... congrats on your new ride... thanks for watching... :)
This is a nice bike but isn't it pretty much in the same category as the ibex 800?
Hello there sir, good to hear from you... both bikes are adventure bikes for sure... The Transalp is much more capable off road and much lighter than the Ibex. The Transalp is as comfortable as the Ibex on the highway in my opinion... thanks for watching... :)
Hello, I have a question about the cf moto 800mt. Do you know what to do to stop it from jerking at low revs in 1st and 2nd gear?
Hello there sir, good to hear from you. Yes the low speed fueling on the Ibex is really bad. You can get your ECU remapped with a proper fuel map here... teammscparts.com/products/team-msc-ibex-800t-ecu-tune Good luck and thanks for watching... :)
