The last story is bigger than you think, getting a Michelin star is a very big feat that most chefs think that the only way you can get a Michelin star is for you to try to get a Michelin star. Look at all these michelin star places that do crazy things.

In Malaysia we also have the chicken it’s called chicken rice but it might be too oily
It's really a Cantonese style soy sauce marinaded chicken.
And i ate that cheese. Its pretty good, like the best cheese I ever tasted.

Potatoes are being sold for €4 to €5 a kilo, which means they are closer to $2.50 a pound. Almond potatoes in Sweden sell for that much and they have a short season too. Wonder if they are related?

Saffron in Turkey is pretty cheap actually, for a dollar I buy around 3 grams. And 3 grams of Saffron is huge in volume, so it's a lot. I literally eat it every single day. And 3 grams lasts around a month for me, so I only buy a 3 grams package every month. I don't understand why it's that expensive in Europe and India. You can find Saffron flowers in the streets in Turkey.
I believe i read it elsewhere that the best quality saffron is from Spain? Not kasmir. Gordon Ramsey did help picked it from one of his road trip

I live in Ukraine in Carpathian region and it's common for us to see saffron growing in nearby forest.

2:41 everyone mentioning Caviar, Truffle, but forget to mention the most expensive chicken meat in the world. it cost US$ 2,500 each. It has all black color from the beak, tongue, comb, meat, and even the bones. It is very rare chicken and only found in central Java, Indonesia 🇮🇩 it's called Cemani Chicken or some people call it Lamborghini Chicken because of the price
and don't forget the most expensive coffee beans in the world is from a digestion of a Luwak (a cat-like animal) it is expensive because of the natural process of the Luwak who only eats "The Chosen One" beans. He has sensitive nose to smell the best beans and eat it. and once again it is from Indonesia 🇮🇩 it's called Kopi Luwak

Many delicious street food in Malaysia and Singapore. Some made it rich, and the price went way up recently. Their reputation are word of mouth, not Yelp reviews. You just need to observe the long lines st the sites
