  • Here it is, the first part of The series on assembling and installing your Johnny bucket and plow.
    In this first part, we take a look at the mower I'm installing this setup on, a 2020 Husqvarna TS354D Garden Tractor and talk about some of the things you may also wish to upgrade when installing this great bucket. Ag tires, wheel weights and tire chains are all on the table to make sure you get the most out of you upgraded tractor.
    Then we move into the garage to assemble the front brackets before finishing out the video with it's installation on the tractor.
    In Part 2, we will assemble the Front loader bucket, so stick around!

    Quick Tip;
    Make sure to wash and dry the Tractors Frame rails/sides before adding the Side Adapter Plates.
    Optional Step;
    After washing and drying Tractor frame sides, apply thin and even coat of Grease to the inside of the (contacting sides) oof the Adapter Plates to keep (minimize) rust from forming between the steel plates of all bolted peices...
    Another Opttional Step;
    Add Brass Washers between the "Quick Release Arms" and the side Plates for "slip" allowing the Arms to rotate easier.
    -These are things that I would do, as I tend to "Over-Engineer" EVERYTHING!
    DO IT CORRECTLY, BY DOING IT ONCE.👍

    Love the video Erik.....One of these days hoping to afford this. I just have the large craftsman plow for my GT5000. The same one you used to have. Love these little tractors and Johnny Products. Left us with a Clif hanger - lol

    Thanks for the video! Looks similar to the Craftsman scoop install, just with beefer brackets.

    I enjoy watching your videos, but I'm just a little confused. Is this a video that you made and never had posted, or of another tractor 🚜that you recently acquired, because I know that you had a Johnny Bucket set up on the same model Husqvarna 🚜for about 2 years now, or did you remove it and reinstall it just to make this recently posted video, I'm so confused 🙋‍♂🙆‍♂🤷‍♂ ???

      No worries. Yes, this is the same tractor. What happed was that I was looking to get the Johnny plow jr. I reached out to the fine folks there at Johnny Products and they had not only heard of my channel ,they said it had helped them sell a lot of Johnny buckets over the years.
      They then made me an offer that I couldn't refuse. They sent me nearly EVERY item they sell in return for me making a series of video that shows how to assemble them. The one I'll be building and installing here is there new remodeled version that they currently sell, and it is different, but in a good way.
      I talked about it in the intro video I made last month. It's the greatest thing that anyone has ever done.

      @@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs Okay I'm straight now, Eventually I'd like to get a TS-354XD but my 2013 Craftsman/Husqvarna YT-3000 with the B&S Intek 21hp. single cylinder engine averaging 100 hours each year and 865 present hours refuses to die, it's running so damn good as I haven't done anything to it but regular 50 hour oil & filter changes, valve adjustments, and tune up parts while everyone else's went to the junkyard breaking camshafts, blowing head gaskets, ect. but I did replace the hairline cracked transaxle mounts as a precaution last year. I use it 4 seasons cutting grass & mulching leaves up until Thanksgiving then change it over for the winter with my spare winter tires on rims with chains already installed, wheel weights, manual lift 42" plow, and the Craftsman winter cab which I custom fitted with a full rear enclosure and front leg/foot shields, it's one of the best and most dependable investments that I've ever made.
