Happy for you. I performed my first umrah last October, 9 years after I reverted. It was indeed an overwhelming and emotional experience, seeing Kaaba for the first time.
May Allah strengthen your faith even more and make you a stronger believer in all circumstances. And may Allah let you come back from Hajj changed for the better for the rest of your life.

I’m not Muslim, but this particular video brought me to tears, so beautiful to see the culmination of journey to Islam. All my friends are Muslim Arabs, not by choice, it’s just the people i connect with; i also don’t drink, eat pork or gamble - never have. I’m learning Arabic and feel this should have been my journey too, but life as children’s doctor has been far too hectic.

I just came back MA 2 weeks ago from Umrah Alhamdullilah and its just a life changing experience. Just so you know my wife was killed in Mecca after those animals stormed after throwing the jamarat. Yes that was a long time ago, but I decided to never step foot in Saudi Arabia again. They tell you, we should at least go once. I went and it was my last time. The entire stupidity of throwing stones to kill the devil is a bunch of bull crap. So you all should know is that they could not identify her, barely anything was identified, except her hand that had the identity bracelet made of plastic that they give us. She was snatched from my hand and I could hear her yelling for me. People said oh she went to heaven because it’s a holy site. Give me a break. If she would have had a heart attack and died while we were in hajj then it’s okay… but the manner in which she was killed occupies my head everyday. I know they Improved that aspect so things like this don’t happen like this again, But my daughters got married without their mom with them and our boys never had the blessing of their mother. Their mom didn’t sit at the dining room chair and teach them like all our mothers did. Thank GOD my parents did not do it, and stayed way behind and they would not let the children try to find us. I have my family, but the most Important family member is missing. I have not been able to work for 10 years and I’m an engineer. I suffered such shock. I decided to go back to work since everyone is grown up and left the house. So I took an entry level job until I become 62 I will go live with my daughter.

I just want to mention that it's been a little more than half-a-century since we have gotten independence but we didn't make the expected progress due to severe corruption. Corruption is the mother of many evil things. I thank you for your interest in my country. I forgot to mention one thing; the people of Bangladesh are famous for their hospitality.

I just came back MA 2 weeks ago from Umrah Alhamdullilah and its just a life changing experience. I no longer am enjoying any songs or these sorts of things i find peace in Quran reciatation and just pray may Allah call me to His house again and again. Just so you know my wife was killed in Mecca after those animals stormed after throwing the jamarat. Yes that was a long time ago, but I decided to never step foot in Saudi Arabia again. They tell you, we should at least go once. I went and it was my last time. The entire stupidity of throwing stones to kill the devil is a bunch of bull crap. So you all should know is that they could not identify her, barely anything was identified, except her hand that had the identity bracelet made of plastic that they give us. She was snatched from my hand and I could hear her yelling for me. People said oh she went to heaven because it’s a holy site. Give me a break.
If she would have had a heart attack and died while we were in hajj then it’s okay… but the manner in which she was killed occupies my head everyday. I know they Improved that aspect so things like this don’t happen like this again, But my daughters got married without their mom with them and our boys never had the blessing of their mother. Their mom didn’t sit at the dining room chair and teach them like all our mothers did. Thank GOD my parents did not do it, and stayed way behind and they would not let the children try to find us. I have my family, but the most Important family member is missing. I have not been able to work for 10 years and I’m an engineer. I suffered such shock. I decided to go back to work since everyone is grown up and left the house. So I took an entry level job until I become 62 I will go live with my daughter.
I don’t understand how she died. I hate SA.
