Parchment paper “wrinkles” when it gets wet. My guess as to why you got weird setting on the bottom!
I'm watching three years after this uploaded, and yes, parchment absorbs moisture and wrinkles. Also, it has two sides - one is plain paper, and one has a silicone coating. You can see the difference if you look closely. Obviously, the silicone side is the one that won't stick.
I think you guys should make a sculpture of something like your cat or each other

You should try to mix some of Stuart Semple's pigments into your resin! He has some really cool pigments like "the blackest black", "the glowiest glow" and stuff like that lol
I think the pinkest pink would look so cool! I don't think the blackest black would work in resin since it needs to mattify to be that dark, though

alcohol inks are alcohol based as the name suggest meaning that when you use a heat gun on it you evaporate the alcohol leaving only the ink behind....aka chunky-vill
dang. it was so obvious...... and hilarious that it never came up before now.
Makes sense but they have done this exact process before and not had/seen the problem
@@bigrob029 Did they always hit it with the heat so quickly? I know I have seen them do it before, but I feel like they always give it a little more time meaning the ink might get more covered by the resin.
Our current guess is that they have been sitting around, sometimes in the hot garage for too long and the alcohol evaporated because they used to not act this way. Hopefully we can revive them with more alcohol and shaking them up a bit

I love the fact it was supposed to be each of you doing one and the third was to be joint and Evan completely took over the ocean blade lol I knew exactly what you were going for, as waves come to shore they have the foam from pounding against the shoreline. It looked sooo good with the white until it got completely blown and picked out... Definitely a cool concept tho

I think my favorite one was the ocean sunset knife. The handle contrasted the blade super well and it made it visually stunning. I liked the blade of the galaxy one but the end result didn't look so well overall. and the geode one was cool and it was awesome to see it glow, but it still didn't have the same visual effect as the ocean one. I'm glad you guys had fun with this.

I love how each knife is 2 different creations. Each side is so different because of the layers of resin, but also because the handles were cut reverse of eachother. Like on the ocean one side starts in purple and rhe other side starts in orange.
I think it’d be really cool to see some of the excess resin from these type pours made into some sort of tree decor or wind chime... it’d kinda be like a reduce reuse recycle thing

The ripples on the back could be from the parchment paper if it was slightly wrinkled when you poured the resin.
Also because it's paper só the moisture makes it wrinkly

um...parchment paper doesn't take in moisture......thats one of the points of it....that and mostly non stick.....

Every relationship is two way. I'm sure they both have their quirks and annoyances. Not really fair to single him out just because he's doing what literally all men do. It's a personality trait of the gender. Not trying to excuse anything, it's just how we are, we can't really help it. I'd be willing to bet that's probably something she loves about him, because notice how many times he agrees with her and reserves his own opinion. They work really well together.
I agree -- Evan could work on letting Katelyn's stuff be hers more often. She seems to handle it ok now, but that's the kind of behavior that digs in and festers over time. I hope they talk about it offline and he improves if it bothers her as much as her facial expressions seem to show - and that's the stuff they leave in the edit! Love them both and I hope to find a partner that is as fun to make with as they are.
