This song is so sad… It breaks my heart every time .. we played it while putting my moms urn down in my dads grave . We travelled half the country to do that during covid.. they both passed way too young. My daughter put the urn down. I could hardly stand . I’ll never forget the sight of my beautiful young daughter uniting my mom and dad after 30 years. (He passed at only 37) Standing there in the stunning grave yard in the bright green grass amongst the mountains.. more than 50 people crying silently while this song played.. 😢
Thank you highly..The older guy wrote the lyrics and Emma Steinbakken made this come too life with a series in Norway called rod knock..A series for youth growing up in Norway...Theme is cars and youth....Thanks for sharing your thoughts...Great.
There is a big difference between play and seriousness And now it got a little hot for me Now you're going your way But I'll never forget you I think it will take time before I get peace If you have a dream and can fantasize One day it can all happen to her If you set goals, then the chances are greater It is not luck but clear thoughts that guide you Life is a game, what should fit in You need to learn to interpret your role Now you're going your way, but I'll never forget you I think it will take time before I get peace You become more easily blind When a boy throws the yarn And talk about children and houses and call You may forget, what it is you are looking for And can be left with nothing There is a big difference between play and seriousness And now it got a little hot for me Now you're going your way But I'll never forget you I think it will take time before I get peace Now you're going your way But I'll never forget you I think it will take time before I get peace
The beautiful girl hear , sings a song about some one leaving , and she would never forget . The fun fact is that she sang the song in a Norwegian TV series, and the man you see come up to her and sing along is the head artist (original writer and singer) of the song.
The title translate to "I'll never forget you". Magical is the word. You did not butcher the title, it sounds like you have an ear for languages and could learn Norwegian. Thank you for this as it introduced me to Emma Steinbakken, Aslag Haugen is one of my favorite vocalists with the band Hellbillies. They have some songs that is stuck in my head and pops out now and then (I have a jukebox in my head that suddenly start playing and some songs I can not even remember to have heard only to find out my mom might have played it once when I was a child)
I love this song. ☺️ Its so cool to see people outside of Norway reacts to norwegian stuff. 😁
The girl covered this song. The older gent coming out of the carwash is the original artist behind the song.

And can be left with nothing

She has a very sweet voice. She kinda reminds me a bit of Aurora. Loving it. @Ann-Lisbeth this is a beautiful song. Great choice!!👍
