If you have any questions or suggestions for future videos feel free to let me know here in the comments. I hope the video helped you out. 👍
You did a fantastic job with the base information for beginners.
Can’t tell if your accent is Canadian or South Georgia
Great vid I did everything and then got killed by the big ship in orbit after taking out the smaller ones! Skill issue lmao
Bro I just became a sub to your channel! I like how you explain things to the point. 👍🏾
Can you help me please, so im early on in the game and I lead to the first crashed ship you get in the story, I didn't have the wiring loom, so I went to get resources but now I cant find the ship. How do I get it? Please help me out
>start the game
>fix warpdrive
>get inside the anomaly
>buy economy scanner
>fly to black market system nearby
>attack the freighters and buy all contraband you can fit inside your ship
>use the anomaly to get back to starting system's station
>20 million units
Quick tip about crashed ships you find. You can fly your current ship into the anomaly, then swap your current ship to the broken ship and it will automatically repair the jump thrusters and hyperdrive without costing you any resources. Makes it really easy if you want to go around collecting broken ships to sell early game.
You're a giga-chad
How do you find the first ship? How do I get the HUD to pop up?Where is the analysis visor?I have been collecting stuff for weeks, how do you get going in this game?
How do you swap ships in the anomaly
still didnt understand how use the broken ships :\
@@uclapac10watch a tutorial??
Pro tip: if you want tens of thousands of ferrite dust and carbon in a few minutes, find one of those wierd planets with no trees and tons of rocks and use your starship weapons, preferably the positron or infra-knife and just blast the surface. Go slow so the resources have time to render in and just shoot. You'll end up with massive amounts of ferrite and maybe carbon depending on the planet in just a few minutes. Super nice for massive alloy structures!
I'm gonna dive into my first playthrough right after watching this video! I remember grabbing this game on pre-order and sitting in front of the countdown, super excited. But man, when I finally got in, it was so buggy. Deleted it in just 5 minutes flat and felt let down. Now I've heard they've fixed it up, so I'm checking this out before jumping back in! Thanks for the guide!!
How are you finding it mate? I jist got it too, if you're on playstation maybe we can play together sometime
@@secondsonjdkI started a new playthrough last night after not touching it since release. It's alot lot better and I am enjoying it. So much freedom and lots of exploration. Can't go wrong really
@@adegbrs3838best space game ive played
Same here played it when it first came out and was disappointed, then picked it back up like a week ago becuase I was getting into the Starfield hype
@@secondsonjdkjust bought it on ps myself
Great vid with solid pacing and explanations. I’m not too great at games like these it can all feel overwhelming trying to keep track of what I need and what it takes to get there so this was super helpful.
Another really fast way to make units is to take advantage of the economies of various systems. Make a storage container and put the manufactured goods in it in your freighter. Once youve got a bunch just hop from system to system and sell super expensive while buying really cheap. Of course theres the frigate expeditions and those are really fast too but just another method in case youre interested.
Coming back after years away and figured I'd check a guide. I knew most of this but the interceptor blew me away. Definitely going to go ship hunting next chance I can!
I'll tend to start the game analyzing all of the fauna on the starting solar system which will net you around 8000 to 10000 nanite. That allows you to fully upgrade your mining Beam movement module and scanner. After that every planet you analyze the fauna on will net you millions of units and thousands of clusters
who else thinking of Playin NMS because Starfield just couldn't cut it LOL ............ ME
Dude! Awesome walk through. I wish I knew these tips when I first started (semi vet with over 1100 hrs but still so much to learn!) Great info video! Gave this a like and you a follow. Thanks for sharing.
I wish I'd known...
You are the first and only YTer that I have watched that said anything about the "Dissonant" systems and Sentinels! I can't wait to try this out! Thanks for the quick, but informative guide. Do you have a Part 2 to this guide?
No part 2 yet. Lots of other guides on the channel though
Absolutely. This was the stand-out part to me, too. I've never really been much of a base-builder, so a lot of the "set up a farm to produce chlorine" type money making strategies have fallen flat for me. Sentinel ships, though? This is a really fun loop, rakes in credits really effectively, and I get to passively farm for cool ships along the way!
So glad I found yer most excellent guide as I am on my 4th hour of gameplay…instant like and sub…keep ‘em coming…we’ll done sir
just installed nms from gamepass, will use ur guide, ty!
Great video I can't wait to try! It's been since 2020 since I played and I just got back into it and got has stuff changed!
Started yesterday for the first time ever! Loving it so far
Great Job on this! Very helpful.👍
Thank you
The background music in the beginning is Built to Last by Neffex and it vibes well for this
I like tips like the one at 0:55. I try to get myself into habits of doing things that are beneficial to my playthrough of a game, finally bought this game today!!!
Recently brought this game with my christmas money i am super excited to give this game ago but at them i am glued to ark ascended!! Also you earned yourself a new sub!!
Dawgggg thank youuu, i got as S sentinel ship first try and i had the dumbest smile
Awesome
Thank you very much for this video, very helpful ❤
Great tutorial, I wished that I had seen it when I started the game a year ago.
I’ve had this for 3 years.. finally gonna try it rn
A quick way I made credits early was buy a cheap multi tool with a bolt caster and the. Use it to go hunt animals. 75 raw steak goes for like 50k units and each animal gives like 20, after a few minutes I made almost 200k units instantly
Just started and loving it apart from falling in a cave.
if you get an echo locator from an inverted mirror you killed, you dont need to fight sentinel capital ship
the echo locator will get you to a building that will point you to ships , you can farm that way also (keep a base at that building)
Glad to see a youtuber from da rock!!
Oh and dont forget about the power diversion in your starship. You can go so much faster with power diverted to engines and so much more damage with power diverted to weapons and take so much more damage with power diverted to shields. I know on PlayStation it's the up arrow but idk about pc or xbox
Wow. Starfield really said “just copy No Man’s Sky”
Refunded Starfield, gonna give this another shot.
howd it go?
@@Reel___ Played it for a week and got bored lol.
@BlitzedNostradamus haha what did you get bored on? I'm so conflicted on getting this game or not. It looks like everything I want in a sci-fi game, but it also looks grindy.
@Reel___ Honestly what did it was the lack of direction. Yeah I get it's a sandbox but how do I improve my character? What am I supposed to do? That kinda thing.
what boosted my playthrough was finding a black market scanner that gives me around a 10,000% increase in scanning rewards, i hop from planet to planet and scan every creature, make sure you finish uploading the planets data once you scan everything for a huge bonus
Solid guide man! Took down my first capital ship. How far did you have to travel to find your A class? The best I’ve found thus far is a B class and I’ve farmed 6-7 ships at this point. Overall a great way to grab units though. I’m just stuck farming trying to find an interceptor I like haha.
I remember when this game first came out, I wanted to buy it but it got bad reviews because of the bugs, but now they fixed everything so I just bought it recently on sale on Steam and been enjoying it every sense.
Hows it been so far? I'm thinking of buying it.
Hey, so how do you get the Multi-Tool? the one you mentioned, I need a better one and some of these are hella expensive!
So, I tried to be an early adopter and it didn't work out and here I am seven years later with all the updates and trying it again. I was a bit lost but your video was a great jumping point for me man, especially after that first scrapped ship. Thanks for uploading.
Awesome glad it helped
I’ve been loving this game I already put in 24 hrs within my first 2 days owning it 😅
I can't seem to consistently get aggro from these sentinels. i'v gone after a few of them and only once had them aggro to spawn Interceptors.. am I missing something? also while fighting interceptors I do aggro in space, they don't go past 1 start wanted...
Been meaning to give this ago for like 7 years
Finally got it on download as I write this ^.^
How many waves of sentinel ships do you have to fight? I fought of about 10+ waves and no Capital Ship turned up.
Hilarious. I was like "i know that accent". From one Newfie to another! Cheers dude!
Day One player here! Did the preorder and was so excited to play this game. I'm one the few people who liked it at launch. Haven't really played it since, aside from a quick stint in VR, and I'm pumped to see all the new stuff. Thanks for the vid
I love that youre a newfie! Im from NS
completing this as a new player took about 12-24 hours but great video i'm learning as i go which is better than being told what to do.
No link below, LIIIIIIES! Thanks for the quickfire guide!
This guide is really helpful. But I don’t fully understand the differences between S class and the other classes. Could someone please explain?
classes are C-S. S class has the biggest storage, and best stats.
Hey! Cool videos! You earned a sub!!
Question, In other guides you mention going to the dissonant planets, collecting echo locator, using terminal at camp, and locating dissonant spike to find Interceptors.
This guide mention fighting a sentinel capital ship to collect a dreadnaught AI fragment and find a Dissonant spike and interceptor
Is there any difference in these methods? The first sounds much easier!!
Also, any tips to increase chance of making it an S class interceptor?
Thanks!
Using the terminal is easier. Getting an S class is random so you might have to find a few of them. Good thing is that you can scrap the ones you don't want for units
@@Newftorious thank you for that!
I read S class ships are most common in outlaw galaxy’s
Should I therefor be looking for an outlaw dissonant system? Does such a combo exist? Thanks!
Oh also it is well worth it to fenengle with your supercharge slots. They make an absolutely massive difference!
Great video!!!
Very good video I really appreciate the info thanks
Glad you liked it
Yes by. Never taught I'd watch me a vid from another islander. God love ya for the tips my buddy
With the release of echoes, would you alter anything here? Is this a game more about gathering/ building or more balanced like combat/ leveling, crafting etc? Cant get a feel for what this game is.
im kinda in the same spot as you. i feel kinda lost with the game somtimes but i think that the main thing is progressing through the story but other than that, you are free to do whatever the hell you like
Too much gathering, I needed like 70 different resources from 900 different planets too sharpen my pencil.
Seems like this game is for autistic people
How do i craft ammo for my boltcaster? Is there a recipe for it?
im loving this game on my steam deck
It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize you can pick the new slot when upgrading inventory and you don't have to use the slot position it selects.
Same. I unlocked half my inventory before realizing it also unlocks mod slots
Whaaaaat?? Thank you !!
I have done the tutorial twice now and at the end of it my ship won't fly any ideas as too why ?
I just wander around putting sodium in my suit to keep going.I don’t know how to install the analysis visor faulty hlogram Damaged Electrode shattered power core faulty carbon nanotubes and anti-matter for housing shattered power core. For weeks I just walk around. There as got to be more to this game
thankyou :))
New to this game. Honestly having a lot of fun learning and researching and fixing and discovering plants and animals.
Truthfully, the game is pretty much pointless playing as soon as a sentinel spots you. If youre on the ground and engage them in combat, there are just endless waves of them. If you get to your ship and run, there are endless waves of sentinel air crafts. Keep taking them down, they keep chasing. Huge momentum killer for me. I dont understand how to just get away and continue to mind my business. It's annoying tbh. I just want to explore. I wish that you could turn confrontations off. Theyre not even necessary. Or atleast make them finite and survivable.
Did you grow up George street bie? Lord tunder'n what a good guide brother. Cheers
i might be slow but im missing something. at what step does he end up with all those units?
bruh the same apollo bug we had 5 years ago is still breaking the game smh me and my buddies had to stop after 6 hours in cause we couldnt progress pass the mission to contact apollo NO MANS SKY PLEASE
شكرا
About MultiTool inventory slots, If I buy slots on one multitool (say the pistol), and later upgrade to a better multitool of same type (pistol) or different type (say a rifle), will I keep the purchased new inventory slots? or are they tied to the Multitool they were purchased for.
They're tied to the multi-tool you purchased them on
@@MrRykage bummer. But thanks. 🤠
Why do the egg guarians constantly spawn if you kill them?
FASTEST WAY TO GET NANITES: Go to an outlaw station and buy all the contraband and tech and weapons suspicious packets. Open the packets and save the modules. Go do missions in the meantime. Every time you come back to the station buy mor suspicious packets. Once youve got a bunch of suspicious modules sell them for a boatload of nanites. I earned like 40,000 in less than an hour and a half
This game is currently on sale at 50% off on the Switch for the next 8 days.
That 50% discount was peak marketing.
Can you help me please, so im early on in the game and I lead to the first crashed ship you get in the story, I didn't have the wiring loom, so I went to get resources but now I cant find the ship. How do I get it? Please help me out
I chalked it up as a loss and moved on. You’ll find more and his method for farming ships will make you more anyway.
I havent even gotten to tge anomaly and I have all X class upgrades on everything, an s class multitool, 6 frigates, 7 ships, 10k nanites, and only 40m credits. Ive barely even touched the main story 😅
Great video
Thank you
You don't have to find a dissonant planet to piss of the sentinels. I just go up to a space station and fire even once at it. I never seem to get in trouble for shooting it, and the sentinels show up right away.
Had a question as a player whos since returned and is getting their footing. Why dont more people recommend doing the expedition, then making that your official save after completing? After doing my first i felt like it gave you a better ship, units, intro to alot of the new mechanics, as well as opportunities to both get and farm extra sentinel ships. Along with a full glyph set and other nice perks upon completion.
There is currently no expedition, so that guide would only be helpful once in a while
I've mentioned it before but they aren't always active. I think it would be cool if they had the expeditions on a rotation. They have a lot of them at this point. Some of them aren't new player friendly though
Thanks all makes sense!! After coming back and doing the expedition i was like man where was this when i played years ago. But forget its an LTE.
I just started playing again aswell, are these expedisions worth it? Im suprised how much this game grew lost all my stuff tho my ships and freighters are gone. So i made a new character.
@@daveboonen5041 i think theyre super useful i wish i had jumped back in with the expedition save it kinda sets your character up quickly with a lot of useful things. But even if you already have a save going like i did that you dont wanna lose you can transfer over all your rewards to your main game save. Last expedition was super fun and completely worth it only took about 6 hours.
Its impossible to kill the capital ship with the Setup you have on your ship, you are probably on Very Easy difficult...
looking at all these tutorials makes me realize I probably shouldn’t have just been blindly following the awakenings quest for 3 hours lmao
What’s dumb is that’s exactly what you should be able to do…but by doing that, you’re nerfing your start :/
How do I get the analysis visor tho
Question. Finding and selling a crashed ship. Are you not stuck on the space station then? How do you get back to your own ship?
You'd just get your starter ship delivered to the space station
I have picked this up again the last time I went on it was day of release I’m already confused of what todo and how to start it
Just play through the tutorial, it will teach you what to do.
I think it's the 3rd time I'm buying this game lol.... here we go again in 2023
So just tried this. Found my first Sentinel ship, which was a B class, but still way better than the starter ship. So I sold the starter for 4 mil, then upgraded the new ship. My second attempt, I found another B class, decided to sell it for scrap, made at least 23 mil off of it. I’m currently sitting at 30 mil and I’m quite new to the game. This feels like cheating, heh.
I’m gonna keep doing it, though. :P
Where tf did you find it? I still haven’t found anything and I’m broke as shit. I’m gonna uninstall🤣
@@imnotfatmaybeidkyetdidtbh Have you watched the video yet? They're very easy to find. I found 4 by the time I began a hiatus.
very new beginner here. how do you collect sodium? i can find it and shoot it but can't collect it. gun burns out. is there a beginner tutorial out there anywhere? this is so frustrating when you can't get past the beginning. thanks
Harvest the sodium rich plants with “E”
Noob tip: Go to the Anomaly, say hi to someone and wait for them to give you some materials that instantly makes you a billionare
because starfield is so bad i'm gonna grab this one . The free updates are insane 😎
Where is the spaceship.?I saw it once,I never saw it again.
I can’t find any sentinels on my planet any help?
New player here
I just want to start from scratch. My main is essentially maxed out. All S class everything. All main quests are done. I'm bored. Lol
I’ve been stuck wandering aimlessly not knowing what to do. Been about a few hours now trying to get sodium nitrate to unlock this exosuit upgrade. Can’t even mine the crystal. Got the blueprints for advanced mining pistol. No idea where to get one of the materials. Looked through several videos. I’m just about ready to drop the game.
If you look in the settings it shows you where you can find whatever your looking for
amazing guide but your aim was killing me in the dissonant system part lmfaooo
I recommend to repair anything and just claim it and sell it 😂 no need to fix things you can just spawn it
Great content buddy . You sound Newfie as my self
Pretty sure I've came across your account before .. I just started no man's sky again it's been a few years 😅
Dammit I jumped the gun and bought c class upgrades off the bat
40 million is enough for a full playthrough is a wild statement.
I havnt played the game in like 2 years I have 1.2 billion credits is that good or is that like nothing
Was unable to even sell my ship.
i got An S class ship crashed i claimed it should i sell it or keep it ?
If you like it sure. S class ships are pretty rare. You can store up to twelve ships as well
I had non clue you could even repair those crashed ships nevermind sell them. Im 8 hours in and feel like i knew nothing 😂.
Just started my first play through, if anyone wants to join let me know!😄
Game: Mining resources and crafting shit
This dude: Tip nr. 1: You have to mine resources.
ya,all the same as in every video ...diferent menu...i just don t have this menu and i can t repair my scanner i think i will uninstall
I'm 10 hours in and never seen the space station >_>
