Helpful video, many thanks. Link for the alloy levers seems to be out of date, and or the listing isn’t available. Could you update the link or recommend an alternative?
Thanks for being a part of our channel and letting me know about the link. I've updated the description with a new link, they seem to be the same levers I used.
Nice demo for those with little experience. There are a couple of short cuts you could have taken to make it even simpler but you got the job done. We learn by doing.
I decided to order the mirrors and used your link to Aliexpress. However in the process of ordering I added my 2020 Continental GT to the add a vehicle box and got a warning that these mirrors are not compatible with my bike. I'm pretty sure they are but wanted to check with you before ordering. Thanks, Don
Yes, those are the mirrors, make sure you get the 10mm clockwise and counter clockwise plugs for the mirror holes. I just checked the listing and everything looks the same as when I ordered.
I installed the bar end mirrors 3 or 4 months ago and love them. I just ordered the levers so watched your install video again to refresh and noticed you have rear stand. Would you please let me know where you got this stand and the bobbins from? Thanks Again, Don
Hey Don, Thanks for watching we really appreciate you watching, liking, commenting and subscribing!! The bobbins are just a pair of cheap 8mm bobbins from Aliexpress-www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002720070224.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.ff6af19cIp632u The stand is a venom stand available on Amazon -- www.amazon.ca/Venom-Motorcycle-Swingarm-Paddock-Profile/dp/B00AWE0EUK/ref=sr_1_6?crid=T8Q0VXND1HWR&keywords=motorcycle+stand&qid=1669432776&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI2LjI4IiwicXNhIjoiNS41MSIsInFzcCI6IjQuOTMifQ%3D%3D&s=automotive&sprefix=motorcycle+stand%2Cautomotive%2C147&sr=1-6 Enjoy your Enfield Build!!
FYI, on the Interceptor the weighted plugs on the bars are not removable, so the mating face of the mirror must be cut and stepped to match the end of the plugs.
The quality is good, the arms and housing are well made and solid. The actual mirrors have a blue shade to the glass, I think this is to reduce glare or reflection from headlights at night.
Hi Chris, they're FX Racing levers from Ali, I've used them on other bikes as well. Decent quality, no issues. Thanks again for watching and subbing. www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001825073999.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.545.20131802dPiwHt
Possibly a dumb question (picking up my GT650 later this week and planning to swap the mirrors), but can you also put these same mirrors under the bars? Will they hit the tank?
Not a dumb question at all. I just went out to the garage and measured and kind of eyeballed it and I'm pretty sure you could mount them under the bars. The mirrors stand about 6" above or below the bars, when the forks are turned to full lock there is lots of clearance.
That sucks, it's common with some manufacturers to have clockwise and counter clockwise mirror mounts, that way the wind coming straight at you will keep the mirrors tight and not loosen and swing towards you as you ride.
If I kept the stock exhaust pipes or had a 2into2 exhaust I would install a center stand but with the 2 into 1 stinger there would be a gap on the left side of the bike where the exhaust should be. I don't think it would look good, but I'll do a bit more research. Thanks for the suggestion. Next video will be a Cafe Racer fairing install .

Thanks for the info! I'm about to switch to bar end mirrors. Are the mirror hole plug screws 10mm or 8mm?
Thanks for watching, the mirror plugs are 10mm and both clockwise thread and counter clockwise thread, one of each. Good luck with your build!!
FYI, on the Interceptor the weighted plugs on the bars are not removable, so the mating face of the mirror must be cut and stepped to match the end of the plugs.
Thanks for the info.
Sure thing. They're spot welded in place. I was expecting an hour long leisurely mod, wound up taking half a day.
Whats the mirror quality like?
The quality is good, the arms and housing are well made and solid. The actual mirrors have a blue shade to the glass, I think this is to reduce glare or reflection from headlights at night.
Great video! only one question... The mirrors are the 10mm plugs clockwise and anticlock
That's right 10mm Clockwise and counter clockwise
@@losttogether4ever Many THX for the video and the info, i bought the mirrors for my royal enfield continental GT!!!
@@vvillmovie the plugs make a big difference for sho. Found some for like 5 bucks.
Good stuff.. Are the levers 147 or 177 mm?
Thanks for watching, they're the 147mm ones.
Hi, what brand are the new levers?

Thanks heaps,, I'll get some for my Interceptor as my fingers are on the shortside. They look great.

Is the rear view is clearly seen in these mirrors while riding
Yes it is clear but with a blue tinge. The stock mirrors showed more of my elbows!
I totally marked up one of my mirrors taking them off turning the wrong way! What the hell royal enfield!
That sucks, it's common with some manufacturers to have clockwise and counter clockwise mirror mounts, that way the wind coming straight at you will keep the mirrors tight and not loosen and swing towards you as you ride.
@@losttogether4ever all good tho hated factory mirrors. Just got done painting side case letters after watching your video. Thanks for the content.
Why does the mods for the Enfield are easy ie you don't need to be a factory trained tec to even touch the bike..... OR YOU MAKE IT LOOK EASY ...LOL.
Thanks for the kind words, anyone can do the same as I do, just take your time and do your research, easy peasy!!
@@losttogether4ever your welcome.....very quickly are you thinking of fitting a centre stand ? if so that would be a good vid.
