Some of the games it's just not worth the effort to put it it time and work so just cheat if it's available. Why not? Like gta 5 online. A 1,000,000 Shark card is like 100$. 1 million can't get you jack shit in the game. But if you pay like $25 to a hacker they they can credit your account with unlimited money. Like wouldn't you go for that?

Anyone can use a chronus xen, max,etc for the purposes of NOT cheating but just using a different controller for your console or PC (PC can be finicky sometimes, sometimes it's better to download the old 360 driver and use a chronus to emulate your controller to a 360) but for consoles this shouldn't be considered cheating unless you download the special "mod packs" to gain an advantage.
And you know damn well people are going to do that cheating is cheating!
Go play shipment 24/7 90% of the lobby is running these head shots left and right from across the map tracking you perfectly. They are all lairs, the only reason they got this thing is to cheat.

That’s cool that you can actually use it for something besides cheating, that’s my biggest issue with ps5 is that I had custom controllers and back buttons on all my ps4 stuff and there’s very few options for that with the ps5 right now

I picked up an extremerate back button kit. You have to do some tinkering but it's an option.
@@o.nature Yo I was also in your shoes. Don't buy this. Buy Extremerate Back Buttons for the ps5 controller. You can get it on amazon and it's pretty easy to put together. If you've took apart a PS4 controller before you can easily do it. There's videos on how to do it anyways. No soldering necessary. Just make sure you have the right Dualsense ID number.

People get stuck at the word "cheating", but I honestly think that this facet of the device should be the one to stand out.
Being able to use *any* controller is a God-given send to poor folks like me. Yeah, saving money to buy a console and later on having to get cheap 3rd party controllers to save your DualS' controllers...
So thank you for giving such highlights - and making our lives easier.
If you don't own one using the device for this intended use is quite annoying because having to keep the wire in. But Titan TWO has a wireless bluetooth module that seems amazing right now the whole setup will set someone back $200 bucks i want one so bad but its like trying to get a PS5 all over again.

I really love my 8bitdo adaptor that allows the use of most controllers on most modern systems. Not sure if it works yet on ps5 but seems to have a cleaner set up then the zen.

If you connect ONLY your Astro C40 dongle to the A1 port. You don’t need a “donor controller”. And you can play wireless.

I was using one of these to use an Xbox steering wheel on a playstation cause I'm not spending 200 quid to have a separate set up for my playstation when I play every now and then from my Xbox. so I can see how this is not cheating just getting past the ridiculous one controller only works on a specific console
Haven't got the zen but I used to use the crocus + just so I could use a DS4 on the xb1. Never used for cheating. Awsome tool for controllers.

@@nomadghostlead6553 i for one dont have one. This device was released about 1 to 2 years ago, and for those that have it, its cool since they can avoid purchasing a 2nd ps5 controller and use one they already own.
I still use the ps4 dualshock 4 controller to play ps5 games on the ps5 using the Playstation Remote Play app. That way, i have a controller upstairs and 2 ps5 controllers downstairs connected to the console, done that to constantly pair them between console and my phone.
Yeah I hope they patch that thing away. Now that you can use it to switch controllers our cheaters even have an excuse to own that piece of shit.

I'm trying to get along with the new ps5 dualsense but it's a little more big and you got to handle a little different and i got really large hands but it has much more quality of plastics feels more durable than the other controllers the battery it's insane so i will get along with it for sure

That’s pretty cool you can use different controllers, a lot of times I don’t think much thought goes into creating them lol, as for the cheating part, I for one loved the game genie, game shark, pro action replay, etc, growing up and I personally think if someone wants to cheat on a game so they can have unlimited ammo, unlimited health, high experience and all that they should be allowed to do so, after all, you did buy the game and the console to play it on, BUT when you’re playing online with other people you should NOT be allowed to cheat, you should use your skills at playing that particular game, technology is changing so rapidly I’m sure they will come out with a game shark equivalent for the PS5 soon enough, some people say it can’t be done, but that’s what they said about the PS4 and yet we have Save Wizard, it’s just a matter of time.

yeah you can! the zen has built in Bluetooth and easily pairs with PS4 controllers. if you want to use an Xbox controller wireless you can buy a dongle for it.

The Astro c40 is great when you upgrade the analogs to evil controller analogs or battle beaver customs analogs. The oem sticks are terrible

lets say if I had a hori ps4 mini pad and wanted to use that one to play a ps5 only fighting game. since the controller already has a ps4 license, would a need another one to feed it to or just using the controller straight to the cronos would be sufficient ?

Good video as usual 👍🏼. I also just want to say that the Zen is not cheating or hacking at all. Some people out there are uneducated and speak with out doing research. The Zen only uses your CONTROLLER input and does nothing to hack or modify the game in any way like PC hackers. They don't compare at all. Thx

This was the same attitude when gamers started using Kontrol Freaks, and this was the same attitude when gamers modded controllers with back buttons. Your still not hacking or cheating right?
@@RoosterRubio I was being sarcastic, the cronus can be and is clearly able to be scripted to remove recoil as well as enhance auto aim etc. It is a cheating system to make players seem like pro's but it is still hacking just a hardware hack instead !!!

Well ZEN helps to reduce recoiling and aim better. And when u points its directly point to any enemy not to the ground or wall.

They both have the same design fault that get drift. Same as Xbox and switch too

What about the Thrustmaster eswap controller. I tried everything you mentioned in the video but it appears that it doesnt work with the Thrustmaster. Can you suggest something? the light comes on, on the controller but nothing works.

If all it allows is the usage of other controllers, fine. It’s the scripts that people use to cheat that are unacceptable. Hopefully anti-cheat software will start to catch these cheats soon.
Not likely as the zen outputs as a controller and uses your controllers security ID.
@@JereCo837 Yes, ideally anti-cheat software could detect artificial movements such as the pulling down on the stick to counteract the recoil etc which is effectively how the Zen scripts work I believe as they can only use in-game functionality (controls).
@@steveb3944 I never said it is impossible. But it would be extremely difficult to pull off. Also, zen is much like(well is) a type of macro(for example, editing macro on fortnite)< you can make a macro yourself just by using your mouse/keyboard software. Many people use this and epic knows about this, but it is extremely difficult to detect. The only way people get banned for it is if it’s obvious( cough* serpent au)
Anti-recoil could be considered pretty obvious. However, you can definitely achieve this type of aim with hours of practice. Don’t believe me? Look up some CSGO/Valorant players😂 hello there is actually some really good controller aimers on fortnite without using aim assist ((Bloom aside))
This type of “anti-cheat” or any type lol would be extremely problematic too. No anti-cheat is perfect, so there will be a handful of individuals with naturally good game or people that put hundreds or even thousands of hours into training their aim. Keyboard or controller

@@steveb3944 True, however, that could be achieved with time too. Zen no matter what script((is not aim-bot)). All it is doing is controlling the stick. Very few people have every got banned from anti-cheat detecting some type of macro. Let alone consoles😂

In cases where you are only competing against yourself, cheating is also known as modding and something there should be no limitations on, play your way and have fun.
You can just plug the Astro c40 it will work without the hori since it is a licensed controller. Hori is only needed for scuf ‘s impact or pro since they are modded ps4 original controllers

Magic SPro stick will do exactly the same and even without cabel for a fraction of the money but I guess cronus probably has less input lag even i cant feel any with my stick

Call of Duty’s have become unplayable unless you have this device. Literally everyone on COD has them. Super annoying. I can’t bring myself to buy a Cronus Zen though, or buy another COD for that matter. They have killed COD for me

Any issues using the back paddles on the Astro with PS5 games? I was devastated when Sony said they wouldn’t allow the C40 to be used on PS5 games.
My PS5 is arriving today, and I have the C40 and a Cronus Zen. I should be able to test this out and get back with you if you're interested still.

So he shouldn't be able to play on PS5 at all until he can get a custom controller? He has no interest in cheating using mods, scripts or whatever. I'm not sure if you're aware of this information or not , the PlayStation 5 controller is about as reliable as pooping in your hands!! There's reason why if you go into any major retail store walmart ECT you will definitely find at least 8 ps5 controllers. Because they are made with the first generation plastic bags that floated overseas way back in the pre covid-19 days. There's a billion dollar lawsuit going on about these (so called controllers)

The PS5 controller is bigger and heavier than the DualShock 4. It may be fine for most people but not everyone. I have a friend with a disability who can't use the PS5 controller. He's been playing using remote play using his PS4 to play 2k21 on his PS5 just for the PS4 controller. This might be a better option for him so I'm going to mention it to him.

You can hook the mouse n keyboard into the ps5. I have a zen so I can use my PS4 controllers

Yes, because absolutely no one else could've figured this out on their own... come on man, seriously? He's just trying to show that it's not solely used for cheating, and when you have a 200$ controller for PS4, that won't work with the PS5, I think that it's partially Sony themselves to blame for the need of this software in the first place. Just because it COULD be used for cheating, by the way, doesn't mean that it would work all that well in more advanced games, especially FPS games with more unpredictable recoil (because if it worked too well, it'd be quite easy for games like Call of Duty to be able to detect that the exact input to counter the recoil for any given weapon was being constantly input, on top of the player's input on top of that.
TL:DR - Cheaters will eventually get banned if they decide to use it for that purpose, but for people with legitimate reasons to use it, such as using their expensive controllers that aren't even available for the PS5, it's a god send. Just my two cents though, but perhaps something to think about before criticizing John for just trying to help out us fellow gamers with this issue.

@@BenSS3 If you have the device and arent very skilled, you are tempted into turning auto-aim on, just start losing. Then the other players are using it on you, so you use it on them... Like a bit ago i was doing black ops 3 and a guy runs through a wall passing by me like 3 feets distance and does me a scoped headshot with sniper rifle. If i had the device id be tempted to use it. In a year or 2 they will just push a button and the game plays itself by the looks of it. 😂
Stop being such a baby, if a person wants to cheat, first thing they're going to do is google it. And it's not like someone who's in the fence about cheating or not will all of sudden start doing it after watching this, it just doesn't happen...

The xim apex does the same thing. Used to use it to do m/k on PS4 for funsies but it’s not too for that. It’s better for using other controllers. My fav controller is the Xbox 360 and I use that on the PS4 with it. Without cheats of course. I’m too good to needem 😎

Can i use a dualsense to transfer the license to a regular dualshock 4 via the chronus zen? I already have 3 ds4's and i don't want to buy more controller's just to play ps5 games with my friends
I used a chronusmax plus to use my arcade stick for fighting games. They are SUPER expensive and I wasn't going to keep buying them for each system.
I only played Xbox twice and immediately realised that the controller felt considerably more comfortable to hold making gaming feel more natural then PlayStation. Now I may buy this device to finally use a controller I’m happy with. The analog sticks feel much better position.

@@brettpearce8843 So did I, I used it to be able to use my Logitech G27 wheel on my PS4 untill Cronus released the Drivehub then I bought that one and sold the CronusMax. Now I use it to connect my Logitech G27 to my PS5.

Does the controller need to be wired in the whole time ? Or can you play the ps5 games wireless?
You can use them wirelessly but won't be able to use audio jack(plug in) headphones with the controller. If you want to use a plug in headset the controller must be plugged in
