Black dude here. 39 years old. Hip hop head....When I was younger this was one of those rock songs I used to bump and felt in my bones. The end part when they're singing that over lapping part was super dope.
Color don't matter my brother. It's about feeling, obviously you love ❤️ the groove and lyrics. But I get why you stated it because it's unusual, these fellas got the magic.
A great Chevelle song. Drummer Sam Loeffler: "Send The Pain Below is about taking the hardships in your life and making art out of it. Because, you gotta get it out some way." Also check out the song "The Red" and be sure to do the video for it.
This was one of those songs you turned up on your 6 disc CD changer system with the big speakers, closed your eyes, and let it fill all the space in the room. There’s something very fluid and therapeutic about Chevelle’s music that just sticks with you. I’m transported back to high school every time I hear this album. Love your reaction.
Chevelle is an awesome band. You should check out "Closure", "The Clincher", "Get Some", "Still Running", "Jars", or "Take Out the Gunman" by Chevelle. All great songs, can't really go wrong...
Most definitely, "The Clincher" I saw them in concert when this album came out. omg, they're so good in concert!! Flyleaf, Hinder, and puddle of mud were there as well!! Music was so good back then. Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin killed EVERYTHING!!
Theres so much to it. Its really about loving someone so much that no matter how bad they hurt you, youre willing to take it. At some point you cant take the hurt any longer but you cant let go
This song! I enjoy on the regular but when you're going through it... Hits on a whole other level. In difficult times this song help me feel like there was someone out feeling my pain. Another great listen is "Letter from a Thief".
How did I miss this? I just searched to see if anyone had done any reactions to any Chevelle and found this. But I have been following and watching your channel for a long time. 🤔
So awesome to see you guys getting into Chevelle! More please!! 🙂 "The Clincher," "Hats Off to the Bull, " Face to the Floor," "Jawbreaker," "Take Out the Gunman," and others!
My fav song by Chevelle! Thank you for reacting to my song in video!! Love the fam & you both!!! When I lived in Nevada I use to play this song loud driving down the highway to Vegas..lol
Love Chevelle. Such an Underrated Band. Wonder What’s Next is an Absolutely Amazing Album. Check out “The Clincher” or “Family System” next. Chevelle is an Awesome 3 Piece Band. The Singer is also the Vocalist. Great Bass & Drums
They played at Rocklahoma a while back. They were awesome! Rocklahoma is a three day rock festival here in okalhoma and it's pretty fun. If ya'll ever get a chance to go you guys definitely should!
Chevelle was formed in the 90's as a rock trio, originally w/ 3 brothers in the band - Pete Loeffler (vocals & guitar), Sam Loeffler (drums) and Joe Loeffler (bass)... their debut album "Point #1" (1999) sounded too similar to early Tool... video singles 'Mia' and 'Point #1' got some MTV airplay... After some legal troubles, Chevelle found their sound w/ the 2nd album on a new record label - "Wonder what's next" in 2002 which charted at #14 in the US and sold 2x platinum, scoring the MTV singles 'The Red'... 'Send the pain below'. They followed up w/ the album "This type of thinking (Could do us in)" in 2004 which went platinum... "Vitamin R (Leading us along)" and 'The Clincher' were the singles... Bassist Joe Loeffler was fired soon after. Their brother-in-law Dean Bernadini joined on bass. 'Vena Sera' (2007) was the next album which went gold in the US (half million copies sold) in the declining CD sales age... singles were 'I get it'... and 'Well enough alone'... Despite declining record sales, Chevelle remained popular, releasing the albums - 'Sci fi crimes' (2009)... 'Hats off to the bull' (2011)... 'La Gargola' (2014)... and 'The North Corridor' (2016)... Bassist Dean Bernadini left Chevelle and the band has toured w/ live musicians since. Chevelle's latest album 'NIRATIAS' (2021) charted at #9 in the US.
You two are my favorite couple. Doesn't matter where it comes from -- Ya'll open your minds with interpretations. It's beautiful because this is a real relationship in action.
When this song was hot a friend of mine went to see them at a small show in Cali. She and her friend hung out with some guys before the show, which they realized when it began were Chevelle
Gotta say this was killer. Love that song, your reaction was spot on. But as another poster has mentioned PLEASE do Chevelle "The Red" video. It has the same type of intensity and guitar screaming we all like and listen for. Keep up the good work, stay safe, keep calm and rock on!
Hard lights having hurt. I send the pain below. You used to beg me to take care of things.. and smile at the thoughts, of me failing… You used to run me away, awhile laughing. Then cried about the fact, until my returns.. but long before, having hurt. I send the pain below. Where I need it. Much like suffocating
There’s something so wholesome about you two vibing to nu metal. You should do a reaction to a Dropout Kings song. They combine nu metal and rap. Or some good ol Denzel Curry
I've been watching y'all since you started doing the Falling in Reverse reactions and I have to throw out some love for my guy wearing CIncy hats. I'm out in the west now but I always rep my Reds and Bengals.
Hard lights having hurt. I send the pain below. Much like suffocating You used to beg me to take care of things.. and smile at the thoughts, of me failing… You used to run me away, awhile laughing. So much like suffocating Then cried about the fact, until my returns.. but long before having hurt. I’d send the pain below. Where I need it
Ooo ooo Asia & BJ, I have a song y'all must react to, if you haven't already. Shadow on the Sun by Audioslave lead legendary front man, Chris Cornell (RIP). God I miss him 😭The song is just filled with amazing guitar and lyrics that are very dark but relatable. Song gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
Yay y'all finally give them a listen but really you picked three one that was over played and the one just about everyone knows this is only a tiny taste of what they can do. You have to check out something newer please!! I just saw them live in mobile this past September and they were fucking awesome. Pete and Sam have been doing this since they were very young and been touring since they were teens I believe. And Petes voice is often compared to Maynard James Keenan. But anyway please check out more it's well worth it!
You know, you assume that this is about a bad relationship. I sleep in my mother's closet to take care of her because she has dementia. she tells me that she hates me and wishes God would kill me. I understand how to send the pain below and continue.

White guy, I love music. No race needed. If it connects, nothing else matters.

Hello 😊👋
Really like this band, the music does bear some similarity to deftones' be quiet and drive.
Influences were Deftones, Helm (I believe is the band), and Tool.
Check out stars by Hum.
Yay y'all finally give them a listen but really you picked three one that was over played and the one just about everyone knows this is only a tiny taste of what they can do.
