Her set at the Montreux Jazz Festival is outstanding, start to finish. ‘It’s A Man’s World’ and ‘Mary Jane’ are standouts. I highly recommend them both!

She acknowledges she is a "vocal technique nerd" here too. There is a sing-s-long if you do the reaction..

Thats super interesting about the body movement influencing the sound. It would be really cool to see different artists from different genre and really dig into that. Hardly any other channels talk about that. (if you need any reaction ideas. . .wink, wink)

Hey, at first from the thumbnail I didn't realize it was you, because your channel name changed and I wasn't a sub yet on this new one (now I am) but very soon I remembered you, I had watched your reaction to OWT on that other channel, and also a couple of reactions to Ren... Great to see you're back at her again, she's just so totally awesome and I really enjoy your knowledgable reactions and analysis! For your next one I'd suggest you take a step back from the huge stages and watch her perform, live again, but in a very stripped and acoustic arrangement, which will put even more focus on her incredibly nuanced vocals and emotional connection... Some suggestions, all great:
Natalie Don't (acoustic) - RAYE sings and plays the piano
All Dressed Up (acoustic) - RAYE sings, incredibly intense, Aaron plays an acoustic guitar
Please Don't Touch (Hunger Session) - RAYE sings and plays a grand piano
Enjoy, peace and love from BavaRAYEa!

As Dominik suggested some of Rayes lesser known acoustic music is superb my current favorite All dressed up (Acoustic).
If you liked the interaction between her Choir (The Flames Collective) you should watch her performance at the Emas 2024 of Escapism, Oscar Winning Tears and Body Dysmorthia.
You may think ooh ive heard a couple of those songs before but if you watch it its a completely different arrangement. With the star song for me being body dysmorthia. The interaction between her and the choir is superb.
    Enjoy your RAYE journey

@@TheEmpoweredVocalist Her EMAs medley is definitely worth watching. Actually listening to RAYE becomes more fun the more familiar you are with her art as she loves to change arrangements, melodies, rhythms, delivery, anything, you'll never get the same thing you thought you already knew... And I find it admirable and daring of her to chose a heavy topic like body dysmorphia for her full closing song at this awards show, whereas she sung shortened (but still amazing and different) versions of her major hits at the beginning... And she mastered it with grace and courage and beauty...
