Social media seems to enable people to react as positively or negatively to new figures (and other topics) as they wish based on their desired narrative. And then the battles begin. I've started to just stay away from FB groups and places where such toxicity lives. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air 🙏
Very nice. I got my standard version this week and it’s easily the best of the Ultimates line for me. I can’t wait for the Minus Color version. I can’t remember, but I seem to recall there was talk about a hinged jaw with this figure? Or maybe that was something Kyle mentioned would be looked at in future series? Not certain, but I’ve never minded the swap-out heads so it’s cool with me. Been really enjoying the standard one, so I’m sure Minus Color will fit right into my collection. Great video!

It's unfortunate that they made this a limited pre-order 7 months before any version of the figure hit the market. With how hit or miss Super7 is (to me, at least) I wasn't even going to humor a preorder for any Minus One figure until I saw in-hand reviews, and I'm glad I did that because I'm disappointed with the paint apps on the standard release. But this release? This looks absolutely amazing and I probably would have purchased one if they didn't ask me to gamble on it half a year in advance.
Technically my rarest figure. Im so excited for him, hes coming today for me. A lit of people are talking about this minus cokor version like it isn't a very big deal, but for me im terrified to break it since theres only 1000 that were made.
When I took out my minus goji, I didn’t need to cut the plastic, it was really easy to get him out. I think some people just need to be carefully and move him down
Great review! I got my standard version a few days ago and I'm in love with it! The only real issue I have with my copy is the roaring head has a bit of slack jaw. Not sure if that's just an issue with mine or if it's more common, so I would also really like to see hinge jaws moving forward. Either way though, I'm very happy with how it turned out! Kinda regreting not getting the minus color version now 😅
The more reviews I see of this figure the happier I am I decided to preorder it in the brief window it was available. I’d the eyes are derpy I might do a very small amount of fix up paint (I’m an artist) but that would be it.
The sculpted details, especially the skin, are excellent on this figure, but man. The eyes and teeth look awful in every review I've seen. I haven't seen this mentioned in a review yet either, but the seam lines on the sculpt are very clear (especially on the base of the tail) and it feels like there was little to no effort to reduce them. I know S7 is aiming for that "nostalgia old toy" part of the market, and on their more stylized figures seam lines you could argue make it more "aesthetic", but on a figure like this with very good/realistic sculpting, the seams, glossy finish, and non-hidden hinges just make it look like a bootleg
You are right the videos do not give the credit this figure deserves yes it is a little glossy but it is nowhere as bad as it looks as shown super7 and hiya might become my new number 1s
Good job with the lighting, its a gigantic improvement for a figure that is dark. I think I should have picked this one up, the paint and look I feel is superior to the original colour.
Well I'm still holding out. Not holding my breath for it but I'm waiting for Hiya. When Super 7 finally figures out hinged jaws and matte finish then I might give them a shot. Also in another video I saw that ball joint that barely sticks out of the tail. This figure would frustrate me I can tell. I'm ALREADY frustrated looking at it 😅 Sorry I'm just over here grumbling like a curmudgeon.
I ordered my -C version and saw some pics my friend had of hers and they were ok ‘Cept the eyes. I’m just hoping mine will look good as well and have the eyes not look so derpy 😂🙏
@@kaijucanuck4492 just remember its a little bit, on the socket, not the ball, and you have to move it so the glue doesn't ruin it, i did it with my sh gmk and now its perfect
im wondering if the regular version looks glossier than the minus color one. mine's fairly glossy. when your not putting the figure on your eye, the head really does look good. i can't seem to make my monsterarts head look good any which way i put it.
Do you think you can make a video on how to fix the loose torso problem if you or someone else figures it out? I'm having the same issue with my release and it's bothering me a lot. ^^'
Welp this figure still didn't sell the Minus Goji design for me. But it does give me a good picture as to what I could expect from Super7 in the future. I'm still hoping they'll do Ultimates Beast Biollante before moving on to different era. I know Hiya would probably do it sooner or later, but Super7 would probably make them even bigger. And I need the base figure for my custom MV-style Biollante to be as big as possible. But please have the hinge jaw by the time they made her

I got mine yesterday, looks good, and they fixed the problem I had with the ball joint attachment on the tail. It was a LOT easier to pop on.

For the lose joint on the torso, i would just add a bit of glue and then move it

Adding nail polish to the ball also works. Just a thin layer to make the ball fit a little more snuggly.

Super7 made a big ass ship for their G.I joe reaction figs so I have faith in them.
