Why not just order from hiya themselves? Every time I order from their website it seems like mine arrives nearly 3 months before BBTS patrons get theirs. That was the case for their first king Ghidora.
Yup I learned how long the delay was when I preordered the Hiya 2019 King Ghidorah figure. On BBTS it took nearly 6 months for that figure to finally release here in the states while those who decided to import had theirs before Christmas of 2023. I made sure not to make that same mistake when the 1991 Godzilla as well as the rest of the Exquisite Basic series of the Heisei figures went up for preorder and ordered them directly through Hiya Toys’s Shopify store
Yeah I moved to import sites after I waited monthhssss for my og paint Ghidorah to arrive from BBTS lol, this video put a lot of things I thought into a new perspective, very well put. I do wish Hiya was more communicative with customers but hey they’ve made amazing godzilla figures so far for a great price, I can’t complain too much
Og Ghirodah just arrived for my local distributor along with the beam one. Muto still haven't arrived. Luckily I got mine already. And I think my usual guy still haven't received ksi kong and ramarak. So it is all over the place when it comes to overseas arrivals. Man, I'm kinda tired of the mold reuse and same character. I'm happy that we got the definitive kong, but at the same time it is kong again. Even when skar king is made, it's another monke. I would love other titans. Behemoth would be nice since mammal titans or kaiju in general are a rarity. Legacy of monster titans like Ion dragon and frost vark would be cool (I saw some calling them minokawa and nidhogr if using folklore for the titanus name), or at least the two side titans from gxk. Crustacean and aquatic titans hasn't exist as a figure. I just want something new, man
I think we are about due for some new MV molds. There is an interview with Hiya coming out sometime soon on Toho Kingdom - it should have some new information to look forward to!

I usually order the important figs to me from Kowkis, if I want it soon, I usually reserve repaints for BBTS because the delay allows me to do other things without having to spend immediate money on them, example I bought the 91 immediately from Kowkis, and then pre ordered the repaint on BBTS.

I ended up finding out it was releasing THIS YEAR in October or something like that. I ordered it in November of last year

Will the date keep changing? Does it normally take this long or should I request a refund? I’m new to all this pre-order stuff so it seems a bit sketchy. Once I told my son he said I should’ve ordered it from a different website(I was trying to surprise him though, so I didn’t ask him where I should’ve ordered).

I pre ordered the hiya heat ray GVK Godzilla in June on the Godzilla store. and it was supposed to ship in August but it shipped in July. Does Godzilla store just get stuff quick or it is just because it’s a reissue
I think preordering is fine i like doing it though i like sites where they take the money out right when i preorder, if i have the money then take it out then or at least have the option to. I dont preorder from bbts for that reason, or i like gamestop preorders because you can pay how you want if i have 20 i can put down 20 and pay off more as i have it, i feel that should be the golden standard for preordering anything
I waited nearly an entire year for mv ghidorah and it wasn’t even complete. The Stand was just missing. Course I emailed them but alas I expected and got nothing. Needless to say I hate their release schedule no matter how hard they cook, which they did. Great fig.
Yeah I was completely surprised by the early release of flameborn Rodan and I am STILL waiting for my MUTO. Thoroughly annoyed with that since Gravity Beam Ghidorah is coming this month (allegedly). And I just canceled my supercharged Godzilla Pre Order because I really don't want to be surprised with an early release for that since I budgeted for it to be out in mid 2025. If it's available in November or December and it's not sold out then maybe I can get it but I don't need another incident like I had with Entertainment Earth and the early Skull Island Kong release.
I still don’t have that muto. I ordered it off BBTS in march and it has gotten delayed twice. BBTS claims it’s coming q3 2024 but I wouldn’t be shocked if they delay it again. At this point if they delay it again I’m canceling that order because I’m not even sure I want this figure anymore
That is the only thing I have a problem with Hiya about, they announced the figure and it released a year or more from now, it’s like IM GONNA FORGET, announce the figure maybe a few months before release 😂, it’s worth the wait but my gosh the wait even for a repaint can take forever
I was getting super frustrated with Hiya's Female Muto relase as that, felt like an eternity with no updates whatsoever, it was very annoying but now that the figure is out, I still don't have the figure because of money reasons and the facf that Hiya Toys figures constantly sell out really fast
It really takes to long but, for me is really good. Sometimes I don’t have the money at the time it release on China, so wait 4-5 months it’s best. Also like with the ghidorah, they release the Beam ver. Before BBTS start to ship or even have the OG ver. I cancel the first one and just order the new one with beams lmao
Honestly, it doesn’t bother me that if they change the time period if they release it early. One thing that annoys me is not necessarily the length of waiting but how every single market has a different date to the point where one can say December and another can say may.
I totally understand the time it takes to design and edit figures, but their time frame is frustrating. I mean still a year away for the gxk figures. Snd like the majority of us, I'm still waiting on muto. My wallet appreciates it, but the waiting does get old. Personally, I use bbts and amazon. I refuse to use kowkis and others, and the shipping is ridiculous.
Chinese brands are struggling to find distributors. CCS Toys, Hiya and Storm Collectibles are dropping the ball because they can’t find a proper distributors 😂

Entertainment Earth has been lacking in selling I have cancel at least five things from that website already 🤦 I even decided to buy Jaguar also off eBay and I know it's coming from China customers. But the worst part is I just know that I'm not going to be getting my Kaiju Collective Godzilla (1954) Black-and-White Edition Figure Godzilla Mezco Toyz figure anytime soon from entertainment Earth. 😢... End of the day if you want any hiya kaijus just order from the website as fast as possible. I gave it three out of five Energizer Godzilla I just got it today. It was kind of a let down some of the areas are not lit up.. personally considering we painting it.. UV light didn't really come out good not happy one of the hands that you get accessory it didn't have any glow in the dark UV light on it 😤 I just threw it into the box of extra supplies I get for my figures and maybe use it one day on something else.
