I have been fascinated by this story since 1990, when I purchased the book, 'The Postman's Palace' by Adrian Henri and Simon Henwood. I am traveling to France in March, with a day trip to see the Palace in person. I am delighted, and not at all surprised that the story has made it to film. Some days it feels Inspiration is in short supply. Long live those who follow their dreams.
@@clarissamoll666 we did, and it was truly better than we might dared to have hoped for. The palace left us speechless, almost on our knees. It was a pilgrimage well worth the effort. We left France on March 14th, with the doors of Europe literally closing at our heels.
Hi again! I really am entranced with this story and place. And tho the trailer has English subtitles, the film itself, which I recently watched after having visiting the Palace, did not have subtitles. As I know the story well, I was still able to follow it, but, is there a feature length version that is subtitled? I can't seem to find one and would love to share it with my English speaking friends.

A very moving film.

@@ghazalshadkami4779 I haven't tried recently to view it, but will do so. It is too good a film, too inspiring a story, to not be accessible.
Apparently, Apple TV has it with English subtitles
