I saw one of these at the Miami Open and literally almost bought it on the spot even though I cant afford it. Gorgeous vehicle

it really doesn’t though.
Um negative..they broke up the vertical taillight lines that flowed angularly down the corners, the fog lights had a splitting design from that of the taillights. The grille wasn’t overly exaggerated like this where it doesn’t relate to anything graphically. The ground stance is lowered and softened giving away the bold luxurious truck look it’s always derived from. It’s looks like a larger version of the lyriq not an Escalade. I do like interior but maybe design wise it should have paid homage to what makes an Escalade an Escalade. Not how can we make an Escalade a green grocery getter. Just my design backed opinion

It better be with fucking 200kwh battery packs for comparison in a Tesla with 100kwh pack you can do 400miles

Actually they will. Well they should. They were offering 1500 dollar credit towards installation of a home charger with the LYRIQ. So I’m assuming they’ll keep the offer going for the Escalade

Love y'all but the charging door doesn't have to be powered.. you're confusing all of our lovely Villagers customers. Make it like a gas cap on the ICE Escalade. No need to overcomplicate things.

I don't get why people support this, yet hate the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona. I like both, though.
Because for high end luxury electric makes sense. You want a smooth quiet ride. But not so in the charger Daytona. You want the thrill in that. And for the crazies who want a performance Escalade Cadillac also that the Escalade gas powered V for 2025.

Hybrid is a hoax. Just be more efficient and switch to full electric.
@brianbosch3628 it's not when the infrastructure in California is the only place that really supports full electric. Or when freezing temperatures hit and those batteries can't charge. I'm sure no one thought it was a hoax then.
@@anthonypierre2094 Well, here in Germany, we have enough infrastructure to support that. In the end, it's always about infrastructure. In addition to that, batteries can withstand freezing temeoeatures nowadays, without to much loss of battery capacity.
@brianbosch3628 just last yr they had a well of really cold weather and thousands of ppl were stranded with their EV cars unable to charge. It was a mess.
@@anthonypierre2094 What a bunch of absurd nonsense. BEVs work are popular in the ARCTIC CIRCLE, charging has never been an issue there. You won't getting into colder condition than that.

literally *_everything_* that killed Cadillac in the 80's (size, fuel & weight etc) can be bypassed with the electric platform.
Why would i as a consumer want to drive another pricy SUV indistinguishable from a gas driven Buick or Chevy when i could potentialy drive something similar to a all electric 57 biarritz if you offerd it?
