The T14 has never left the prototype stage and has only seen 1 combat test that it failed.

This disease is going to be around forever like the flu, and common cold. The difference is that the disease is much more dangerous to a greater number of people. Its likely that a new vaccine will have to be made every year or every few years in order to keep the majority of the populace resistant to newer strains. These new strains will continue to chip away at the unvaccinated, until either everyone is vaccinated, or everyone who didn't get the vaccine dies. Natural immunity doesn't last as long as the vaccine, and is no where near as effective against new strains of the virus. I suppose back to my mentioning of cancer, perhaps a good way to put your stubborn foolishness into perspective is to properly describe the main difference between cancer and this disease. With cancer you eventually succumb to its spread if you do not seek treatment, but only you will suffer and die. With this illness everyone who comes into contact with you while you have it risks catching it and dying. Can you really say you are fine with the risk you will take people with you to the grave? Can you really say you are fine with the risk that others will take you to the grave as well?

@@pffpffovich2398 That is objectively untrue. You could say mass produced russian armour are based on modernized T-72s but the T-14 platform is an entirely new hull and unlike legacy systems. If they can mass produce it depends mostly on there heavy industry rather than sanction dependant components (thermals/optics and FCS components) as much of the ICs that go into heavy armour doesnt need to be cutting edge 5nm node stuff dependant on us green lights and they can product optics/thermals under existing licenses pre 2022 sanctions.

@MarcTBG you mean the what? 30ish T14s theyve produced? Russia does still produce other tanks, the current production tank is the T90M, a mostly modernized T90 soviet era tank. It has 2nd gen thermals and 3rd gen night vision, but its core design is still a T90 which itself was just an upgraded T72. The T14 has never left the prototype stage and has only seen 1 combat test that it failed.

That said, the russian bring practical advancements to modern armour doctrine. ERA, Composite Armour, active protection systems and missile dazzles. You arm chair generals are the people nobody what making decisions, those that actively and deliberately underestimate rivals and threats.
I stated the T-14 wasn't in mass production but it is a fact that it has superior protection to Western systems (Leopard, M1s, Leclerc et cetera): this fact despite your cherry picked example of potential hardware issues (that were explained and we can't prove their explanation faulty or false) are so lopsided that they FORCED western armour to upgrade to keep up (M1A3 APS plus up armour package).

Those individuals are generally those that believe in the so called party of small government. Dead people cannot vote. What will follow is a lower turnout for this party for decades to come.
Even before any vaccine was completed many precautions were attempted in order to minimize deaths. This disease has an interesting tendency to more likely cause issues the older the individual is. I'd estimate those most at risk are those at least 5-10 years older than voting age. This means that the impact on election turnout will be at its highest for the next few years, likely giving many elections that were close in previous years to the other party.

@@nero3837 That requires catching the disease, and not dying from it. Besides didn't you read what I said in its entirety? People with the same mindset as you don't understand the full consequences of their actions. That mindset is what's filling the hospitals up with people who don't want to take every advantage they can get in order to not die from a fully preventable disease. People are now dying to afflictions unrelated to the illness because the hospitals are at max capacity, and they are unable to get treatment for even trivial issues.
Furthermore, I see that your hesitancy is based on misguided reasoning that taking the vaccine must have downsides due to how it was developed. Of course any medication, or surgery has risks or downsides, but either of these are done with the assumption of general improvement. Cancer for example is not infectious so you deciding that not bothering with treatment only causes you suffering, and potentially death. Being dead is something I hope we can all agree is a useless state.
But like I implied in my previous comment this disease is like a filter, an example of natural selection at work. This disease is going to be around forever like the flu, and common cold. The difference is that the disease is much more dangerous to a greater number of people. Its likely that a new vaccine will have to be made every year or every few years in order to keep the majority of the populace resistant to newer strains. These new strains will continue to chip away at the unvaccinated, until either everyone is vaccinated, or everyone who didn't get the vaccine dies. Natural immunity doesn't last as long as the vaccine, and is no where near as effective against new strains of the virus.
I suppose back to my mentioning of cancer, perhaps a good way to put your stubborn foolishness into perspective is to properly describe the main difference between cancer and this disease. With cancer you eventually succumb to its spread if you do not seek treatment, but only you will suffer and die. With this illness everyone who comes into contact with you while you have it risks catching it and dying. Can you really say you are fine with the risk you will take people with you to the grave? Can you really say you are fine with the risk that others will take you to the grave as well?

MPHswayze i know right, I definitely loved the pandemic special but I feel like a lot of people especially love it only because it is making fun of an issue and reality that is very very familiar with them. Eg not everyone is affected by NCAA fuckery or the incredibly flawed way that media portrays women and makes them feel or racial profiling or NFL concussions. Those are all funny topics to poke fun at but are not issues that actually affect a lot of the audience personally
