I believe the 2.8/2.4 V variant is way better than this variant. Also the addition of the Tagalog language in the video is great especially for some people who can't understand English.
I am facing a whistling noise (definitely a wind noise) starting from 100km/h and onwards.... Car is brand new with only 500 kms on the odo. Does anyone have a solution for that ? Note: It is not door seals, they seat perfectly, definitely something else... Looking forward to hearing...

I hope Toyota changes the 3rd row to a fold flat system next generation. Those mounting clips gets incredibly noisy on potholes and uneven road surfaces I just had them lowered even though I don’t have passengers for 3rd row.
Agree. I used to drive a 2010 Toyota Fortuner and I always had the 3rd row down. I borrow a 2005 model from time to time and the first thing I do is pit the seats down. 😅

Why can't toyota make their third row seat fold flat instead of folding up on the side, it takes up the space at the sides. 🤷🏼♂️ All the other suv's have a third row that folds flat.
The new Fortuner G has many downgrades a urethane steeering wheel,manual airconditioning,no cool box,no mudguards,no chrome accents inside and outside, no fog lights

It comes with back up camera, we bought ours january but did not have back up camera🙁
Maj Buster The feature was added in February, so you've got the pre-February 2020 unit.
Interesting, the agent who assisted us said it’s standard. Maybe the unit released to you was a 2019, considering that you got the car in January.

Gilbert Pedro Jr. Only the V variant gets smart entry with push button start/stop. The G variant still uses the traditional key to start the vehicle.

marjomjom Actually its 150hp not 148hp as stated in the Wikipedia article of the Fortuner. Plus the current RAV4 doesn't have a diesel engine.
